Majyk (ma-jick)- Magic
Lojie, also spelled logie (low - jee for both spellings)- person who uses logic, slander for New Parisians, sometimes Zun because of their technological advancement
Veils (vay-lz) - used in place of earth. "what on earth" = "what in the veils", "where on earth" = "where in the veils"
Holy Moon, Oh my Moon, oh Moon, etc - they worship the Moon, and he is their God, so where we would say God, they say Moon, though it isn't considered using His name in vein.
Jykal (jih-kle)- a measurement of majyk.
Tserevian Pass/ Mount Tsereve (Zz(like in pizza)-er-eev) - mountain pass with the mountain that the North Pole is said to be built on.
Hungshei (hung-shay) - Empire closed off from the veils with advanced humans and technological majyk.
Malriel (Mal-ree-el) - The school for the kids of the veils grades kindergarten through grade 12.
Hades (Hay-deez) - Character in A Dark Winter
Aphodel (ass-foe-dell) - an endless field in the underworld full of souls that didn't make it anywhere else.
Saginati (Saj-ih-nah-tee) - a dwarf with hayfever.
