Scarlett's P.O.V.:
I woke up this morning to the sun shining though the curtains draped over my balcony doors. I grabbed my phone from my nightstand and saw it was 8:00am, it's so early... I turned over and put my face in my pillow... All I want is to sleep... Is that so hard?
I rolled out of my bed, looking a mess, and headed downstairs and into the kitchen.
"Good morning, sunshine." My dad said with a smile.
"Morning, daddy," I said, standing on my tip toes to give him a kiss on the cheek, "Is Drew still asleep?"
"Nope, him and Kenny are down in the basement watching last night's scrimmage game to see what they need to work on for next week's game." He said as he started making breakfast.
Last night was a scrimmage game between Huntington High and Los Angeles... We won, even though to some people it doesn't really count. To my brother, though, everything counts.
"Why do they care so much? They won." I said and sat on the stool.
"You know how they are," He laughed, "Plus, this is his senior year... College scouts will be watching them this year and he wants to play at his best."
I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and then both Drew and Kenny appeared in the kitchen with dad and I. Drew came behind me and put me in a soft headlock.
"Ow! Stop, you turd!!" I said, trying to shake him off.
Drew laughed and rubbed my head with his knuckles before letting me go, "What's for breakfast pops?"
"Bacon, eggs, toast, and pancakes today boys... And lady." My dad said, gesturing to me with a slight chuckle.
"Sounds good, Mr. Chadwick." Kenny said, sitting on the stool next to me.
"Kenny, you can call me pops, I don't mind... You've lived here long enough." Our dad said.
"I know, sir," Kenny smiled, "I just always forget."
"Anyways..." I changed the subject, "What are we doing today?"
"I have to go into the office after breakfast." My dad said.
"On a Saturday?" I frowned.
"You know how it gets, sweetheart," He said, "I promise I'll make it up to you."
"Wes and the gang might come over since Kenny is off today, you're welcome to hang with us." Drew said as he stole a piece of cooked bacon from the plate my dad had ready.
Yay for me... I have to deal with Alex again. They all came over last night, but Alex didn't wanna stay the night so they left. I love Wesley, he's like a brother to me, but Alex is you're basic white girl who thinks everyone has to love her... What do they call it these days? A 'pick me' girl? That's definitely what she is.
"So Carly and Kyle too?" I asked, making sure my friends would be invited. I knew Keaton would be coming if Wes was coming.
"Yeah, dummy, that's the gang." Drew laughed and grabbed a water for himself and Kenny.
"Thank god..." I whispered to myself.
Wesley's P.O.V.:
I pulled up to Drew's house and looked at Alex, who was pouting in the passenger seat.
"Baby, it's just for a few," I said right as Keaton got out of the backseat, "But if one of the girls can come get you, then you go... But today I need to chill with the boys."
"And Carly and Scarlett." She rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest.
"Yes, Carly and Scarlett too, but my heart is with you, baby... Carly is my ex and Scarlett is my best friend's little sister... Neither of them will ever compare to you." I placed my hand on her arm to try and comfort her.
