Scarlett's P.O.V.:

I made my way to my next class, early childhood development, and sat at the table I always sit at with some other girls in my grade.

"Hey Scarlett." One of them smiled.

"Hey." I gave them a shy smile.

"Did you hear about the big party Friday night?" They asked.

"Yeah, I've heard bits and pieces... Sounds like it's going to be a huge rager." I said, making them all laugh.

"Will you be there?!" Another girl asked.

"I'm not sure, I might have to go out of town." I shrugged my shoulders.

"That's a huge bummer!" They said, "We totally thought you'd be there considering it's Alex's party."

Wesley's P.O.V.:

I was sitting in the back of the classroom when I overheard a conversation that Scarlett was having with some of the other girls in the class and I thought I was hearing shit when they said Alex was throwing a party.

After the warning bell went off, I pulled out my phone and texted Scarlett.

Scarlett looked back at me and I motioned for her to come and sit by me. She rolled her eyes, grabbed her stuff and moved to the back of the classroom to sit at my table with me.

"What's so god damn important?" She snapped.

"What's up your ass?" I asked.

"Excuse me?" She raised her eyebrows, "You ask me to come back here to talk to you and that's how you treat me?"

"Look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it... But you've kind of been a pain since Saturday." I admitted.

"I've been a pain?" She scoffed, "You and Drew are unbelievable..."

The bell rang so she couldn't move seats. She tried grabbing her stuff to move, but our teacher told her she needed to stay seated where she was since class had officially started.

"What were you talking about with your friends up there?" I whispered.

"What does it matter?" She said, not making eye contact with me.

"Letty, come on, I already said I was sorry." I tugged on her arm, but she pulled away.

"Ask your girlfriend about the massive party she's throwing at your house on Friday," She finally looked at me, "Then maybe you'll get the answers you're looking for."

Alex was planning to throw a party? What has gotten into her? Why would she think that's okay? I mean, my mom is going to be out of town from Thursday to Sunday for a girls trip, but why would she use that as an excuse to throw a party? That's so not her and it's not me either, we don't throw parties at my house... That's something the Chadwicks do.
