Jaden: Thanks a lot Ella! I was ment to be hooking-up with Mads tonight!

Ella: You were the one that was annoying me! And Mads can wait one night!

Jaden: Ugh whatever

He pulled out his phone and started texting someone. I just looked at the front of the class and started day-dreaming.

Teacher: .....Miss Barker!

Ella: huh what?

Teacher: Class is over! And please wake up Mr Hossler, I expect to see you both in detention after school!

She walks out of the classroom

Ella: Jaden! Wake up!

I started shaking him but all he did was move a tiny bit so his face was exposed

Ella: Jaden!

I slap his face pretty hard

Jaden: Oww what the fuck Ella!?

Ella: The teacher told me to wake you up. She didn't say how

I get up and walk out of the classroom and walk to my next class.

-Skip to lunch-

I was sitting alone at a table when Nessa, Addison and Charli walked over to me.

Nessa: Hey Ella! Can we sit with you?

Ella: yeah sure

Addi: Hey umm, sorry for pressuring you about your boyfriend

Charli: Yeah we just wanted to know more about you

Nessa: It's true you seem pretty chill

Ella: thanks. Sorry for being weird about my boyfriend it's just....I don't really like to talk about him....

Charli: if you ever want someone to talk to we're all here

Ella: Thanks guys

Addi: Oh and we also heard you slapped Jaden?

Ella: Yeah well, He was annoying me in History so I shouted at him and we both got detention. Then he fell asleep at the end of class and the teacher told me to wake him up so I slapped him

Nessa: As you should!

Charli: Jaden's nice but he can be a total dick sometimes. I'd love to slap him but I can't cause he's chase's friend

We all laughed and talked a bit more until we had to go to our next classes.

-Time skip-

It was the end of the day and I was just about to walk out of the school building when I remembered I had detention....

I walked back to the classroom where it was being held and sat down in one of the free chairs furthest away from the teacher and Jaden

Teacher: Miss Barker nice of you to join us!

Ella: Yeah sorry I forgot....

Teacher: Okay...Please do some homework or something and stay quiet!

Jaden: But what if you've done the homework

Teacher: Jaden we all know what your like, You haven't even started. Now shut up and do the work!

I slightly laugh at Jaden and the teacher

Teacher: Oh Miss Barker do you think that's funny?!

Ella: I-uhh no!

Teacher: Good.

He turns away and goes back to his desk.

I start doing my History homework but I keep feeling like someones staring at me?

I look over and see Jaden

I wave my hand at him and he snaps out of his thoughts.

He looks at me and rolls his eyes and goes back to doing work.

I was doing my work peacfuly when my phone started blowing up

Teacher: MISS BARKER! GIVE ME YOUR PHONE RIGHT NOW!

Before I handed it to him I turned it off so he couldn't read the messages.

I give him the phone and he locks it in his desk drawer.

Teacher: right, I need to leave the classroom for two minutes stay quiet and do your work!

He leaves the classroom and locks the door.

Jaden: so, Who was blowing up your phone?

Ella: no one!

Jaden: Ha was it your imaginary boyfriend?!

Ella: Jaden shut up!

He walks over to the teachers desk and picks up some keys

Ella: Jaden stop! He'll catch you!

Jaden: chill

He unlocks the drawer and holds up my phone

Jaden: ooh what's this?

Ella: Hey give that back!

He turns on my phone

Ella: Jaden stop!

I run up to him and grab my phone

Ella: Can you just fuck off!? Your the biggest jerk in school! Go piss off another girl!

Jaden: Woah what the fucks wrong with you?

He slouches back into his chair

A while later the teacher comes back and let's us leave early since he couldn't be bothered running detention any longer.

I walk outside and start walking home
