Chapter 2

Y/N POV

The sun shone down upon everyone, the wind lightly brushing the lively green grass, the crystal blue sky stretching across the horizon, the occasional fluffy white cloud passing by, '' The sky is like a second ocean with the clouds as the fish " I thought closing my eyes I toke a deep breath, children's laughing could be heard along with the rusle of the leaves as they clung onto the branches refusing to tumble down, '' it's such a peaceful day today " I thought giving a small smile.

'' Come on Y/N the games about to start! " Norman said giving me a closed eye smiling. '' k, I'm coming " I said cupping my hands around the edges of my mouth to project my voice, so he'd have an easier time hearing me. I started heading my way over '' I don't want to make him wait to long " I thought fastening my pace. When I got there Ray was sitting underneath the tree with a book on his lap and a gold stopwatch in his hand and he had a bored expression on his face. As soon as I got there they started the game I quickly sprinted into the tree line '' Norman's weakness is climbing so I'll just climb a tall tree " I thought determinedly.

I jumped over a rock and luckily there was a pretty tall tree not to far in.  Approaching the tree did I realize how truly massive it is, it was as tall as a giant I tell you and I'm not over exaggerating on this one it was truly a huge tree, '' a perfect place to hide from Norman " I thought satisfied with my work.

I quickly grabbed the lowest branch and hoisted myself up I then grabbed the closet branch to me and once again hoisted myself up, I continued to repeat this action until I could see the house. '' Since I'm so high up I might be able to keep track of Norman's position, but with a lot of the trees overlapping each other it's difficult to see the ground in those areas, so I will not be able to know were he is all the time because of that reason, how troublesome " I mussed, hovering my eyes over the areas that the trees didn't cover over.

I leaned back against the trunk of the tree putting my hands behind the back of my head, closing my eyes, listening to the sound of the wind and everything else that lives in this forest in other words the unique sound of nature '' It's kind nice up here " I thought.

Authors POV

'' Where's Y/N?" The young boy asks attentively. '' She's still out there doing who knows what " the red haired girl responded. '' really!?, she must be pretty good to last that long against Norman " The boy said with sparkles in his eyes. '' Yeah she is pretty good, but it's the first time in awhile that I've see her play, now a days  she's normally reading with Ray or by herself in the library, it wasn't always that way though, she used to play all the time but then she just suddenly stopped? " The red haired girl responded. '' Kazuya do you think Norman's going to find Y/N " the boy asked curiously. '' Nah Y/N's got this in the bag " She responded confidently
'' Just wait and see " she continued.

Small Time Skip
10 minutes later

Once again back with everyone else

Authors POV

'' And that's time " Ray said as the stopwatch went off. The brown haired boy turned to look at his older sibling smiling '' Told you she would win " the red head said smiling back at him.
'' Yeah you were right Kazuya, your so smart! " He said beaming. '' Thanks, now all we have to do is wait for them to come back " Kazuya said looking off into the distant tree line, almost like she was waiting for something, or someone.
