This chapter was rewritten to be more like the book, at least the end part. I would suggest you read it if you read the first version, as it is rather different.

Nico lay in his dorm, contemplating whether he should or shouldn't do his homework for charms. He had a two pages essay due for Monday, but because it was Saturday, Nico had no intention of doing it.

Nico heard footsteps running up the steps to his dorm room, and then watched as Theo, Blaise and Draco shoved his door open.

"Come on," said Draco out of breath. " The game is starting soon. If we don't get there fast then we'll have bad seats."

It was the 5th game of the season, and after this game was won, or lost, by the Slytherins, there would be one remaining match. The Slytherins had won all their previous matches, so if they lost it, they still had a chance of winning. Their game against the Gryffindor team was now in 20 minutes, and though Nico didn't care much for it, he still wanted Slytherin to win.

The quartet found seats in the front, sporting their Slytherin merch and flags to wave around. Once everyone had arrived, the game begun.

The Slytherin team was in possession of the quaffle first, and Flint, who had it, sped towards the rings. When Spinnet moved to block him, Flint turned sharply and flung the quaffle towards Adrian Pucey, who caught it and flew to the rings. He threw the ball, which was let in by Oliver Wood, and gave the Slytherin team a 10 point advantage. The game continued on, with the Slytherin team scoring consistently and having a big advantage over the Gryffindors.

"... and that's another 10 points to the Slytherin team..." commentated Lee Jordan, clearly unenthusiastic about the fact that Slytherin had such a great lead. The Slytherin team had 170 points now, with the Gryffindor team having only 20.

"AND THAT'S A GOAL FOR GRYFFINDOR! WELL DONE SPINNET!" yelled Lee Jordan into the mic, after the Gryffindor team had scored.

The game continued, each of the teams scoring some more. Suddenly, Harry had seen the snitch, and the two seekers followed the snitch on its tail. Everyone was shouting and cheering. The Professors were on their feet, yelling for the team they rooted for. Ultimately, Harry caught the snitch, with the Gryffindor team having 200 points, and the Slythin team having 190.

While walking back to the castle, Nico was tormented by only hearing Draco complaining about the game outcome.

"The Slytherin team would have done much better with me as a seeker." he said while scowling.

"Well next year, you can do that Draco." replied Nico. Draco grunted in reply, and the quartet met Harry, Ron and Hermione.

Harry had already showered and changed, now sporting a red and gold sweater for his team.

"Good win," said Nico politely. Draco looked at him as if he was daft, but then seemed to remember that they were friends.

"Thanks." replied Harry, tense.

"Your chasers still did terrible." said Draco, taunting them.

"Well at least we won!" said Ron defensively, taking the bait.

"You almost didn't." replied Draco. Nico rolled his eyes.

"We don't have time for this." he said. He shoved Draco ahead of him, by mistake into Ron, who instinctively lashed out and punched Draco in the nose.
