"Kids!" a deep voice startles them. They snap their heads in the direction of the voice.
"Hyung!"
"Suga!" they both yell at the same time. Yoongi sighs and shakes his head.
"Why are you playing around so early?" He wipes his sweaty forehead and takes lazy steps towards them.
"We were having a fight." Taehyung stands up from the floor and pulls Naaila to her feet.
"Seriously? I don't see any skills here. I've been watching you for the past 10 minutes." he crosses his arms over his chest.
Naaila grins sheepishly at his comment and looks at Taehyung who was smiling to himself and dusting his soiled pants.
"I just wanted to help the prince to calm his nerves. We were just fooling around." naaila shrugs and wipes her cheeks.
"Calm his nerves? What happened taehyung?"Yoongi now turned his attention to taehyung who was shifting awkwardly on his feet.
"He was nervous about the coronation." she speaks before Taehyung can answer and he simply nods to her statement in agreement while his lips are pressed into a thin line. Yoongi's mouth forms into an 'o' and he nods in understanding.
'Are you okay, tae?" yoongi steps forward and pats the younger one's shoulder in concern.
"Yes hyung, I will be fine. don't worry." he smiles reassuringly and takes in a deep breath. Naaila smiles fondly at the interaction of the males trying to take care of eachother. Despite being the crown prince and soon to be king, Taehyung was humble to his elders regardless of their position in the royal court.
He looks around and notices the sky lost its dark blue and the once bright stars were now fading away into space. The sky was glowing pink and he could see the sun rays thrusting out from the horizon into the large sky.
"You should start getting ready for the ceremony, we should set to the west palace after the sunrise." he says softly and taehyung nods.
"Princess jung, let me escort you to your room."
"I can go there by myself, taehyung. You can hurry up to the ceremony."
"I insist." he bows and spreads his hand out in the direction of the exit. Naaila sighs and accepts the defeat.
" bye, suga." she waves at him.
"See you at the west palace, princess." he gives her a tiny wave and his gummy smile.
Taehyung and naaila walk together in the corridors towards the rooms.they bow to each other once they are at the room.
"I'll take my leave, princess jung." he presses his lips into a thin line and tries to smile.
"Don't be nervous taehyung." naaila starts speaking.
"Hm?" he manages to let out a sound of confusion. She chuckles but returns to her words.
"You must be preparing for this for many years. I know you will be a great ruler to your people. I can see it in them. They are so excited for you to take up the throne and they are happy to have you as their king." Taehyung licks his lips in nervousness.
"You don't believe me?" she asks him and this time she takes his hands into hers. His body was creeped up with a tingling sensation but he avoids it. Naaila squeezes his hands softly and he looks at her.
"Sometimes you need to forget what you feel and remember what you deserve." She runs small circles on the back of his hand with her tender fingers.
Taehyung looks at her with adoration. She sure knows how and when to talk words of comfort. He looks at their hands held together and his lips rise upwards in the slightest curve. Something about her was so calming and comforting.
