She hummed a soft tune to herself as she Put on her silver earrings as a final touch to her pastel pink hanbok. Her loose hair was decorated with a few white tulips. Smiling to the reflection of herself in the mirror, she picked up her bracelet from the dresser.
A faint knock was heard on her door. She uttered a faint 'come in' as she slid the beaded bracelet onto her wrist.
"Good Evening, Naaila." She turned around on hearing a deep voice. There was Taehyung dressed in a turquoise robe with his hair Neatly tied up into a pony. Sure, messy looks suited him a lot but this neat and straight look was something else.
"Evening, Taehyung." She gave him a warm smile. He walked towards her with soft steps and Stood a few steps away from her.
"I realised we haven't greeted each other properly back then." He gave her his smile and she nodded her head.
"How's your wound? Did it heal completely?" he glanced at her shoulder with a concerned look.
"I am fine taehyung. Thank you so much." She bowed her head and gave him a genuine warm smile. He nodded his head as he trained his eyes to hers again.
Her face was glowing soft under the faint moonlight seeping through the windows and the candles in the room. Her lips were stained a soft pink and eyes were lined with kohl. She held a warm smile on her face. A strand of her neatly tied up hair fell onto her face. Taehyung mindlessly kept staring at her face, a soft smile making its way on his own face.
His hand raised up without his command, moving to her face and had tucked her hair back to her ear neatly and sighed in content when he satisfied the itch in his hand. He came back to senses when he spotted Naaila with a surprised face. Her eyebrows were raised and she looked utterly confused.
Taehyung retracted back his hand to his side in reflex and looked at her apologetically.
"I- I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable Naaila. I am sorry." He apologised repeatedly feeling guilty. He wanted to slap himself at the moment for embarrassing himself.
Naaila giggled at his behaviour and waved her hand dismissively at him.
"It's okay." She continued to giggle and taehyung smiled at her.
"You look beautiful tonight." He says in a soft husky tone and her breath hitches. A squeezy, weird, nervous feeling develops in her stomach and she awkwardly smiles at him. She raises her hand to move back the rebellious strand of hair falling on her face and bends her head down to avoid showing him the crimson colour of her cheeks that were once in full display.
Taehyung smiles to himself when he sees her flustered and red under his gaze. She can be soft and cute at times but deadlier the other times. He seems to notice the thick tension in the air and decides to break it by initiating a conversation.
"That is a beautiful bracelet." He glances at the lavender beaded bracelet on her wrist and looks at her again. She breaks out from her flustered state and her gaze falls on her wrist.
"Oh, this." A warm smile instantly creeps up her face.
"This.." She runs her fingers on the smoothly curved beads and looks up at him.
"This is a gift. From someone whom i love so much." Her thoughts move to Jungkook and the flashback when he gifted her the bracelet.
Taehyung nods in understanding and decides to ask no more questions as he understands the look on her face. Might be something personal. He thinks.
"I was sent here to escort you to the dining hall." He speaks again when he remembers the actual cause of coming to her room.
"Oh,that wasn't needed. I could've followed a servant or someone else around here" she glances around the room in search of people.
Taehyung places a hand on his chest and winces dramatically trying to act offended. Naaila chuckles and pats his arm.
"Lets go. The party will start soon." She laughs and he follows her.
