Amanda:
This. Is what I wore to school today. It was the first thing I saw in my closet.
I quickly run down the stairs and say, "Good morning!"
"Good morning honey!" Mom says as she puts down a plate of waffles for me.
"And let's not forget the syrup!" Mom says, placing a bottle of maple syrup beside it.
"Thanks mom, your the best!" I say hugging her.
I drizzle a LOT of syrup on the waffles cause, why not?
Then I quickly devour the spongy treats drenched in sugary goodness.
*AT SCHOOL*
I nervously go down the hallway crowded with children screaming and shouting.
I could barely hear myself, you know?
I open my locker and stuff my things inside and as soon as I slammed it shut, I hear a voice,
"So, new kid, huh?"
I turn around and see a boy.
Great.
He had dirty blonde hair which, I must say, was really messy. He was a few inches taller than me, making me tilt my head upwards a bit. He was wearing a green hoodie with beige trousers and white sneakers.
"I'm talking to you!" He says, his voice raising.
I quickly come back to reality, shaking my head.
"Oh, uh, I 'm sorry! Um, yeah, I- I am the mew kid, I MEAN n-new kid!! Yeah, that's me!" I say.
God, why am I stammering?
"Ugh, we got another stutter problem kid..."
Stutter problem? I don't HAVE a stutter problem!!
"Hey you! I don't know who you think you are, but whatever you are, does NOT give you the right to insult others, you got me?" I snap at him.
Yes, I might be a really shy girl, but when it comes to bullying or insulting or anything that hurts others, I cannot tolerate that!
"Oh... You don't know who I am? Well, Oops, sorry my bad for not introducing myself! Anyway, I am the leader of this school, aka the Best, Elijah Best! THAT gives me the right to do anything!" He says proudly.
"No it doesn't!"
"Yes it does!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"Sorry, but I'm busy right now.. can I ignore you another time?"
I say innocently, then add,
"Bye, hope to see you never!"
I turn around and walk away, smiling to myself when I hear a bunch of 'OOOOOHHHs' and 'ROAAAASTEDDDDDs' from guys and girls who were listening to our conversation.
