Rinnggg!!!
I sighed, finally, about time it rang...!!
I got up and when I was walking down the hallway, Quinn stopped and said, "Hey, wanna join me and some girls for lunch?"
"Oh, hey! Um.. actually hanging with my brother and his friend! But what about we meet up at the mall at 4 p.m. after school?"
"Uh yeah! That's fine! See you there!"
I smiled to myself sadly, cause I wanted to hangout with Quinn and meet more.. well, girls.
I entered the cafeteria and looked around until I spot a hand frantically waving at me.
Alan...
I walked to his table with my lunch and slowly sat down saying quick 'hey'.
That's when I hear a familiar voice...
"And then, Ethan, he was like, "Hey! Give me back my breakfast! You should've seen his face!"
Oh no...
"Elijah?"
He looked at me and just sat there glaring daggers at me.
".............What." He said after a long silence.
"Elijah, this is my little sister... well, 3 months difference, but anyway, and Amanda, this is Elijah, my.... friend?" He looked at Elijah.
"Uh yeah! We're definitely friends!" He says.
"O..k?" I say.
"So, Amanda, I thought you were too busy to talk to me?" Elijah asks all of a sudden.
"..........." I sit there in silence, slowing chewing on my chocolate croissant.
"Isn't your name Amanda?"
"....................Yes." I replied.
The bell rings and he scoffs, getting up and muttering, "Loser.."
I just get up from there to get to my next class, when Alan grabs my wrist.
"Hey, what was all that about?" Alan asks me.
"Nothing, me and Elijah have some... history, between us"
"Wait, what do you mean? Didn't you guys like meet, just now?"
"Yeah, but I guess you could say I had a little encounter with him today.. I'll tell you all about it at home.. Gotta go, bye bro"
I walk away, sighing.
Why can't Elijah just leave me alone?
