Book 1: A dream come true (A Naruto fanfic)

The hokage

Naomi's POV

We finally made it to the Hokage's office. The three of us stared at it in awe while Kakashi and Guy smiled at our reaction. To be honest, I was a little nervous to be going in. Same could be said for Amaya and Shimizu since they soon started to knit their brows in nervousness.

Amaya and I didn't really like Lord Third that much. He was never really kind to Naruto. But we felt really bad for what will happen in the future.

We soon walked inside, Kakashi leading us up the stairs and finally stopping in front of a door. He knocked three times, waiting a bit until we heard a faint 'Come in' from the other side.

Guy opened up the door for us as we walked in. And there we saw him. The third Hokage, smoking on his pipe.

"Oh. Kakashi and Guy. What brings you two here?" The Hokage asked while smiling at the two.

"Well, Lord Third, we have brought three young ladies who were roaming the forest alone. They say that they travel a lot, because they have no place to go." Guy explained as Amaya an I hid behind Shimizu's legs, shyly looking at the Hokage.

The old man looked at the three of us for a bit before smiling softly. "Was there something you needed, little ones?" He asked us, taking a puff out of his pipe.

"We were wondering if we could stay here, Lord Third. That is, if you'll accept it." Shimizu bowed as Amaya and I also bowed in respect.

The Hokage seemed stunned at first but soon chuckled at us. "Of course, my dears. You must be exhausted and hungry from all that traveling. I bet you don't have a single coin on you, am I correct?" He smiled at us warmly.

"Yes, Lord Third." Shimizu answered politely making him chuckle even more.

"Would you mind telling me your names?" He asked us, still having that warm smile upon his face.

"Of course. The one with the black hair is Naomi. The other one's name is Amaya, and my name is Shimizu. We are very thankful for you letting us stay here." Shimizu thanked the Hokage, bowing in appreciation.

"Yes! Thank you!" Amaya and I simultaneously spoke, also bowing before him.

"No need to bow. But thank you for telling me. Kakashi? Guy? Thank you for bringing them to me. You may go now." The old man dismissed the jonin.

"Yes, Lord Hokage." They spoke, bowing before walking out the door.

"Would you like to tell me your last names? I'm just curious, I don't mean harm." The Hokage smiled making the three of us feel relieved for a bit.

"Oh. Uh... Well my full name is Naomi Uzumaki. Shimizu is also an Uzumaki ." I smiled widely as the Hokage widened his eyes in shock.

"And my name is Amaya Hozuki. I'm from the Hozuki clan." She grinned.

"Two Uzumaki's and a member of the Hozuki Clan? Hmm. Naomi and Shimizu, I think there is a chance you two are from another clan. One that is very famous here in Konoha. You're features are similar to the Uchiha's." He explained making Shimizu and I look at him in surprise.

We were honestly shocked on how he figured it out so quickly. But I guess he is the Hokage for a reason.

"How did you figure it out so quickly, Lord Third?" Shimizu asked with wide eyes.

"Well, you two reminded me of some old friends that I used to see. You both look exactly like them." He chuckled warmly.

"They don't just make anyone Hokage! You're very smart, Lord Third!" Amaya complemented making me nod in agreement.

He chuckled at us, but my grin soon turned into a serious expression. "That said, we need you to keep this a secret, Lord Third. Something will happen in the future. Something terrible. And we're not going to be able to stop it." I explained making him look at me with confusion.

"I see." He hummed, taking note of my seriousness. "Do not worry, I will keep your secret. But I must preform a Genjutsu on your hair. Yours is too black while your sisters is a dark brown. After I'm done with your hair, I will change Shimizu's eye color." The Hokage explained. He then stood up, walking towards us and stopping in front of me.

He started to do all sorts of hand signs, touching my head gently when he was finished. I took a strand of my hair and grinned when I noticed that it was now red. As red as an apple!

"Awesome!" Amaya exclaimed, awing at my new hair.

"Thank you so much, Lord Third." I smiled, bowing to him out of respect making him chuckle.

"Your turn now, Shimizu." He instructed her. She stepped forward while he preformed the exact same hand signs he did a few moments prior. He lightly tapped Shimizu's eyes, which were closed. She opened them and I gasped when they were now blue.

"How do I look?" Shimizu asked us nervously.

"Pretty!" Amaya and I answered making Shimizu blush a bit.

"We thank you, Lord Third." Shimizu softly spoke as she bowed. Amaya and I bowed, as well.

"No need for formalities, girls. Naomi? Shimizu? Did you know that you have a grandfather from the leaf?" He asked us making our eyes widen in shock.

'How-How do we have family in this world?' I asked myself while staring at Hiruzen to continue.

"Who is it?" I asked him, wondering who our grandfather is.

"Ah. Now that's a secret. But if you want, I could send him a letter so he could come and meet you." Hiruzen smiled making the three of us nod in agreement.

"That sounds wonderful. Thank you." Shimizu answered calmly.

"Alright. I will inform him that you are here. In the mean time, why don't you all get yourselves situated in an apartment." He informed us as he rummaged through his drawer, pulling out a pouch and some keys. "Here is some money and the the keys to the apartment. I hope you enjoy your stay." He smiled at us warmly as he gave Shimizu the things.

"Thank you so much. We'll be off now." Shimizu smiled as she turned and started to walk towards the door.

"Thank you, Lord Third!" Amaya and I simultaneously shouted, grinning at the Hokage before leaving with Shimizu.

3rd person POV

'They look exactly like them. Well, I guess it's time to write those letters. I wonder how he'll feel about hearing that they're actually here? And with a new granddaughter for him. I can only imagine how ecstatic she'll be after hearing about them. I bet she'll even want to train them.' The Hokage chuckled at his thoughts, beginning to write the letters so he could send them to two very important people.
