"What did you say? Can you repeat what you said, Claudio?" Rebecca said.
"It's Rigel, our sister," Claudio said.
Rebecca was completely taken by surprise by what Claudio had said, while Lucy was silent and attentive. For a moment, Rebecca couldn't speak, and her mind went unclear. It was a bolt from the blue. Claudio told Rebecca that Rigel wants a get-together with them, so she can talk and get to know her siblings. Rebecca wasn't too surprised when Claudio talked about a meeting because from the beginning she knew it was going to happen, their reunion. Lucy asked.
"Is she beautiful as I am, Mom?"
"I don't know, she didn't post a photo of her on her social media account," Claudio said. "By the way, who told you that you were beautiful?"
Just a few minutes later, Rebecca found herself in a brown study. She asked Claudio what he intended to do. Claudio said he still had no idea when and where they would all meet. He also asked his mother what her plan was. Lucy and Claudio waited. After a moment of silence, Rebecca talked.
"I have already decided," Rebecca said. "Tomorrow. Here. We'll meet her."
Rebecca told Claudio to have Rigel tomorrow, in conjunction with her birthday. Claudio immediately sent a message to Rigel. He could not explain his feelings. He was confused. A blend of uneasiness and excitement. They continued to eat.
The rest of the meal was taken up with a light conversation about the weather.
When the heavy rain subsided, Aurora got ready at a leisurely pace to get home. The heavy rain became a very light rain. It turned into a drizzle. Despite the very small and not very dense drops of rain, she walked to the side of the road to find a taxi to ride. Aurora had difficulty finding a vehicle because most of the taxi drivers had gone home and were no longer on a fare due to bad weather. It took fourteen minutes before she found and boarded a taxi.
"Finally," Aurora said.
Upon boarding, she immediately took her phone out of her bag to find what time it was. She was surprised when she saw the time, she waited for the rain to become less severe for over an hour. When she finished looking at the time, she tapped her social media application and surfed the internet just to pass time. She couldn't help but get bored in the car.
As she scrolled through her social media account, she saw pictures of very beautiful and fine women. Women with a pointed nose. Women with straight and curly hair. Women with strong and white teeth. Women with different skin colors, yet their inner being were identical.
"I'm going to be gay," Aurora murmured.
They all have a winning attitude. She was amazed, then tapped the heart reaction on her screen.
As she stared at the photos, she couldn't help but remember the woman she had bumped into earlier. The pleasant scent and the pretty sight of the woman continue to remain on her. It was as if it turned into long-term memory. But what she will never forget is the cold blue eyes of the woman. She was cold and beautiful as a snowflake. Even though her gaze was cold, she had a bright aura.
The woman reveals no hint of her thoughts and feelings.
About twenty minutes later, Aurora arrived in front of their house. When she finished paying, she slowly got out of the car and headed to their gate to go home without an intermediary. The rest of her blouse was wet, such as the sleeve and bottom hem, other parts of her blouse have dried up. Her wedge heel was also wet. Just a few steps away, she stopped before the door, and when her heels were removed, she immediately went inside so that she could wipe the wet part of her body then get dressed. She was seen by her mother as she entered her room, she was asked why she got damp when she was carrying an umbrella. Aurora quickly answered the question and went straight inside.
