It had been a few days since your rather interesting in the book store. You hadn't dared to go back, not only because you had enough books to last you for at least a week, but also because you wouldn't know what you would do if you saw Dream again.

'Dream, hm?' you thought to yourself, pondering upon the odd name. 'It definitely fits him. He really felt like a dream.'

Your mind flashed back to the way he kissed you so passionately the first time he saw you, the way his viridescent eyes simply undressed you, the way his lips were so soft and gentle and tasted like a hint of danger, something risky. You tried getting him off of your mind by reading the new book you got, but the phone number Dream etched on the inside of the front cover was simply begging you to text him.

And the plot of the novel didn't help either. A seductive strangers-to-lovers trope unfolded as your eyes flickered from page to page, only reminding you of Dream more. And the dirty parts-- well, he was right about how you wished you were pinned under someone who had so much desire and lust for you like in the story. What he didn't know, however, was that even while reading, you kept imagining him seducing you instead of the characters.

Enough was enough. It had been two days, and it was only 11:30 PM so he might be awake. You flipped the book open to the page with Dream's number. +1 (407) 214-5333. You typed it into your phone, slightly nervous. It was time to text him.

Y/N: hey, it's Y/N :)

You eagerly awaited his response, constantly checking your phone. You decided to continue reading your novel as you sprawled across your bed. After two minutes, your phone vibrated next to you and you leaped to see if Dream had said anything back.

+1 (407) 214-5333: hey pretty girl

You blushed a little at the nickname, feeling a sense of relief that it was really him. You decided to start with small talk-- you didn't want to be too forward about anything, even though he kissed you within a day of meeting you.

Y/N: how've u been?

As you waited for his response, you went to add him to your contacts. 'Hm, Dreamy is kinda cute,'  you thought. Without thinking, you added a heart next to his name on your phone right before it buzzed again.

Dreamy <3: pretty good, a little bored if i'm being honest.
Dreamy <3: wbu?
Y/N: same, i've just been reading a bit
Dreamy <3: that same one i so kindly grabbed for you when we met?

You laughed, enjoying his overconfidence and humor.

Y/N: yes that one
Y/N: i am forever in your debt for your kindness how may i ever repay you
Dreamy <3: i could think of a few ways ;)

Your eyes widened as you reread Dream's last text over and over again. And you thought you were going to be too forward. Longing for something interesting to happen, you played along.

Y/N: oh yeah baby? what'd you have in mind
Dreamy <3: wow, for someone so shy in person you're very bold over text
Dreamy <3: i like it

You couldn't disagree. It was easier to type these types of things than say them out loud. You could definitely be very flirty over text, just not as much in person. But for now, this was your territory; this was your time to get payback at Dream for making you a blushing mess in the bookstore.

You threw your phone aside and walked over to the mirror in your bedroom to check yourself out for a minute. Your H/C hair was falling in place perfectly today, and you felt particularly confident. You wore a tight F/C cropped top over a white tennis skirt, which showed off your body just the perfect amount.
