Chapter 3

Mako had parked at Asami's house as Opal looked out the window to see the Sato mansion.

"I knew Ms. Sato was rich but I didn't know she was filthy rich." Opal was in shock from how big the mansion was.

"Oh you should see the racetrack." Bolin said.

"There's a racetrack!" Opal even more in shock.

"There's an inside pool too!" Bolin said as Opal was still trying to process the racetrack.

"Chill out Bo, let Opal process everything first." Mako jumped in.

"Wow Mako, you must be lucky to be dating Ms. Sato." Opal said.

"I can't tell if that was a compliment or an insult." Mako said.

"Trust me Opal, I ask myself that question everyday." Bolin whispered.

Mako was a little offended from the comments made from them but he ignored it.

They all exit the car and head to the door as Mako knocks, one of Asami's butlers answer the door.

"Mako it's nice to see you again, I see you're here for lady Sato." The Butler says.

"Yep, is she getting ready by any chance?" Mako asked.

"She's getting dressed now, you all my take a seat while I let her know your all here." The Butler said.

The three of them had entered the house, Opal couldn't help but stare at almost everything.

"Wow, everything is so bright." Opal stated.

"No offense Opal but isn't your family rich too?" Mako asked.

"I mean they are but I haven't been in Zaofu in a while so I somewhat forgot what it was like living luxury." Opal explained. "And I've never seen any other mansion like this before."

"Wait, Opal you're rich!?' Bolin asked.

"Bolin doesn't know do he?" Opal questioned Mako.

"Not one clue." Mako answered.

"What are you guys even talking about?" Bolin questioned as Opal laughed.

"You see Bolin, if you didn't know my last name is Beifong." Opal said.

After a quick minute, Bolin finally made a click, "No way... YOU'RE A BEIFONG!?"

Both Mako and Opal shook their heads.

"How come you never told me!?" Bolin whispered to Mako.

"I thought you already knew." Mako whispered back.

"Of course not!" Bolin whispered.

"But if your rich, then why do you work for Asami?" Bolin asked Opal.

"I didn't really want to rely on my family's fortune so I started to learn to make money on my own, and with Ms. Sato's help I was able to work for her as her assistant." Opal explained.

"That makes a lot of sense, sorry for asking you." Bolin said.

"You don't have to apologize, you were just curious that's all." Opal said.

"I see you guys got dressed up." They all look at the stairs to see Asami all dressed up. "So how do I look?"

"Wow Ms. Sato you look stunning." Opal said.

"Opal we're not at work so you don't have to call me that." Asami said.

"Oh right sorry."

"You look good as always Asami." Mako chipped in.
