Goodbye

"Afternoon mother." I say as I open the wooden door to our house.
"Hello, sweet heart. Did you get all the groceries?" She says and comes up to hug me. "Yeah, I did."

My Mother, Ksumi, Was a 40 year old woman. She looked much younger than her age though She had short black hair and wore the same pink jacket my father gave her 12 years ago, before he passed away. Mother adopeted 2 children about 5 years ago. Of course they, don't know this.

Jakana, was 7 and had long curly brown hair, with crystal-blue eyes. She had soft and smooth peach skin.

Seikun was 6. She had short dark blue hair and green jade eyes. She was a trouble maker but can make you forgive her when she gives you 'the look'.

"Speak of the devil."
Seikun and Jakana walk in chasing each other. "Girls relax. I got some food." I say. Like lighting they stop doing what they are doing and come after me.
"He-Hey, I still got groceries in my hands!" I place the food on our square table and sigh.

I only got bread, milk, cereal, pancake mix, and peanut butter. It was all we could afford. Which is why I had a lacrima planted inside me 12 years ago, after my father passed away. That way I could use my magic to support my family by going on quests. If I ever join a guild that is. But is not just any lacrima. It was a Dragon Slayer one. Now I'm a 2nd Generation Dragon Slayer Of Water.
"Mother. I've been thinking...I want to join a guild!" I burst out. She looked at me with horror in her eyes, My little sisters too.

"Have you lost your mind? (Y/N) I told you, you will never join one of those things! You don't even have magic!" She yelled at me so loud Jakana and Seikun started to get scared. "Mom but thats the thing! If I join a guild I'll be able to make money! And I do have ma-" "Thats enough (F/N) (M/N) (L/N)! I don't want to hear about this ever again! If you ever do join one of those disgusting things you are never allowed in my house! Do you understand?!"
I Nod, holding crossed fingers behind my back. "Good. Go to your room." She says and turns away, washing the dishes.

I walk to my room. It was small, like the whole house. The house we lived in was in was made of brown bricks. We lived in Oak Town. It was one story with 1 bathroom, livingroom, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. Jakana and Seikun shared the other with my mother.

I jump on my twin bed and thought to myself. 'I know why she doesn't want me to join...Because my father died while on a job.'

"I'll be back before the time limit!" My Father pats me on my head.

"Dad I'm 6 years old! But daddy..."

"Yes sweet cheeks?"

"Why are you taking the 100 year job..No one has ever completed those jobs! The only person to Come Back ALIVE, is that mage From Fairy Tail, Gildarts! And he didn't even complete it!"

"Guess I'll be the 1st huh?" He says not showing any signs of fear.

"D-Dad...D-Do-Don't leave me..." I cry and run into his arms.

He Bends down and looks at me.

"I'll be back, I would never leave you, or your mother. I will make it. I have your love sweet heart... I promise "

He kisses my head and hugs my crying mother.

He Was Gone.

Not even a week had gone by and we got news he past away.

"You're so stupid father..." I whisper and sit up on my bed, and bring my knees to my chest.

"That's why I'm your daughter." I Say determained. I go to my closet and get 2 suit cases. I pack everything I need, clothes, shoes, toothbrush, the necessities. I go over to my desk and get a sheet of note book paper and a pencil.
