The Battle

8 More days.

The guilds all over Fiore we're training and going over plans 5 times. Lamia Scales And Sabertooth are here with us. Everyone picked a partner to battle and see which one is stronger. We are doing this to see where the loser can improve, this is war after all. Erza and Jellal became partners (Jellal and Meredy came to help us in Battle) Lucy and Cana, Wendy and Cheria, Laxus and Jura, Gray and Lyon, Mirajane and Freed, Lilly and Gajeel, Levy and Lisanna, Rouge and Sting, Happy and Lector. and even Carla decides to join the fight, shes fighting against Frosh. And I'm paired with...Juvia. Master told us to start when we were ready. When the winner was chosen, the winner was suppose to fight another winner from another team.

"Ready?" She asks. I nod. I was shaking, I didn't want to hurt a family member. I could tell even though I was her 'love rival' she felt the same way.
"I w-won't hol-hold back! LOVE RIVAL!" She said and made her 1st move. It was Water vs Water.

"Water Slicer!" She aimed the attack for my head and quickly took control of the water and send the attack back towards her. She stubbles from her own attack and says,
"What- the- Juvia will try another attack! Water Bubbles!"
"Water Shield!" I report back and block the attack.
"Grr! Water Jigsaw!" and she transform her body into a rapidly spinning cone, which is surrounded by a swirling mass of blades. I barley dodge the attack.

We continued to do this for the next 6 hours.

By the time I had enough it was noon, mostly everyone was wiped out and finally, I decided to attack. Juvia was out of breath but she didn't give up. Guess she really loves Gray.. but I remembered; I do too.
"Water Dragon Frost Bite Ice!" and Juvia's Body was now in a block of ice. I knew I could've gotten rid of her in 2 minutes but, I wanted to see how long she would hold out. I looked around and saw no one was left for me to battle. I shrugged and realized they're were people still struggiling to get up. They were, Natsu, Erza, Laxus, Jura, Jellal, Mirajane and yes, Gray. I saw Natsu challenged Laxus, Erza and Jura, Mirajane and Jellal. That means they're was one person left.

Gray.

I looked in his direction and he was badly hurt. I ran over to him and used my water magic to heal him. I cut my arm and out came pouring red blood. I mixed it with his blood on his scars and collided it with water and put the sphere of water over my chest to chant the incantation to heal him:
"Water of the heavens, I beacon thee to come at my call, To heal my friend who has fell, help at my yell big or small..." and I put the now glowing ball of light over Gray's heart.

In no time Gray was fully healed. He grabed my hand
"Ho-How d-did you?.."
"The perks of being a Water Dragon slayer..." I respond and place his hand on my cheek. I look at Gray now fully healed, lying on the ground, with me on my knees next to him. I let a tear fall from my left eye and he wipes it away with his thumb.
"Thank You." he says. Slowly, he gets up and when I see he's fully healthy, we prepare to battle.
