Chocolate's PoV:

I'm in a dark room. I don't know where.

I'm.... alone... I think - I can't see anyone - but it feels like I'm being watched.

Someone, anyone... help... I'm scared...

Loud footsteps from behind me. I tried to turn around to look, but I couldn't... I tried to call for help, but I couldn't make a sound. That was when I saw the table in front of me....

No.... not here..... admin bad...

Then I felt a hand on my shoulder, and woke up screaming.

Lapis's PoV:

I had been sleeping when I heard it. I'd always been a light sleeper. It sounded like... crying? Muffled screams?

Quickly waking up, I quietly slipped into the hallway. The noise was coming from Chocolate's room.

Aw, poor Choccy... he had the most nightmares, although they had been getting less frequent recently. "Choccy?" I whispered.

No reply.

I cautiously put my hand on his shoulder gently, which was enough to immediately jolt him awake, screaming and wriggling away from me.

"Hey, Choccy it's okay" I murmured reassuringly, "breathe. In and out."

He calmed down slightly, before bursting into tears. "i-imposter... in a-admin......"

"It was just a dream, and it's over now" I declared, reaching over to hug him. His whole body was trembling violently. "You're safe-"

"Oki..." he whispered, clinging onto my arm tightly.

I hate ASAN... why would they do this to such young children? Chocolate was four when they forced people to kill his mother - four! These people honestly make me feel sick.

Lemon's PoV:

As usual, I got woken up by my little sister. "Ugh, Indie! Too early" I complained, rolling over and squeezing my eyes shut as tightly as possible.

"But we have important news!" She insisted, tugging the pillow from under my head and waving it around excitedly.

"Fine! I'm up-" I groaned, finally sitting up. "What's so important then?"

"I don't know. I was just told it was very important and you must come quick." Indigo recited with a grin plastered across her face, before yeeting the pillow at my head and thundering down the stairs.

Fun.

Emerald's PoV:

I don't know if I'm being paranoid or not... but Peach hasn't really spoken to me this morning. She'd said 'hi' but that was about it.

Then again, it hasn't been long and there was a lot of excitement/nervousness about this 'important thing' that we had to be told about so I guess maybe she wasn't avoiding me.

Nah, she's just talking to Rose... is there anything wrong with that? No.

Yeah, I'm probably just paranoid then. Surely she's forgiven me for telling on her..... heh, after five years she must be used to it, surely?

A while later, we were all in the living room, and we finally got answers.

"So" Thomas declared somewhat uneasily, "NASA has told us we have to do another mission. Today."

Gasps and murmurs filled the room. Heh, why does this remind me of an emergency meeting so much?

"What?!" And "no way!" Could be heard.

"Okay everyone, let's just listen for a second" Lapis ordered, and the room immediately fell silent.

"Thank you, Lapis" Thomas sighed. "So... I want this decision to be made by yourselves as well as us... because, well... it's about you." Nods of agreement. "Oki. How do you feel about another mission?"

"No way" Coal snapped. "I mean... just look at Choccy! We seriously gonna expose him to that again?"

"I know you're worried, but we've got to remember. NASA has taken precautions this time.... they won't let anyone from ASAN in. There will be no weapons" James declared, glancing over at Peach for the last sentence.

Okay... James seemed to be pro-mission. So that means I am too.

Rose and Peach exchanged glances. I noticed Rose shrugging and Peach giving a quick nod.... so I guess most of us are okay with the idea so far.

Chocolate was quivering from where he was sat, and grabbed onto Lapis's hand tightly. Guess he was kinda scared.... oh, shoot... did that mean that Lapis was going to back out, just to protect him? Because if he did that, then everyone else would, too.

Surprisingly, his reaction was the opposite to what I'd expected. "I think we should go" he contributed.

"Why?" Lemon asked, shooting him a confused look.

"Well," he explained, "it'll do us good... if we can have a good mission, then we'll see that last time... it was just a freak occurrence, right? It's not going to happen again-"

"That's actually really smart" Scarlet agreed, earning a glare from Lemon... I have no idea why.

"I still don't think-" Coal started, but got interrupted by Indigo.

"Yeah we should go. Lapis says so."

Chocolate nodded uncertainly. "Oki. I be brave.... Choccy go on mission"

Wow... even Choccy agrees. Seemed it was only Coal who was against the idea. And Lemon kinda, but she just followed Lapis.

So it was decided. We're going on another mission.

Sure, it was kinda unexpected... very sudden.... but oh well.

NASA, here we come. Please don't fail us this time.
