Well I guess I'm taking the driving test again. It's not so bad this time, I've been training with Mr Smith in private lessons on parallel parking. I think I'm going to pass this time.I took the test in the morning. Thinking about Jacob and all.

I finished the driving test.

" guess what!"

" did I get it?"

"Yeah you got it. Congrats Ashley."

" oh my gosh now I can actually drive somewhere with a license, and not get pulled over!"

" you've been driving on public roads without your license Ashley?"

"Well yeah, my dad doesn't use the car so I just use it. I think that he thinks I already passed. Oops."

" actually I'm very disappointed in you. I expected a little more from you. Don't go being so careless on the public roads messing up everybody and almost killing everybody. You know you didn't have your license and so does Mia. Wait why did she even drive with you, she knew you didn't have your license and she didn't have her license??"

" I'm sorry mr. Smith, but I can't just walk everywhere for the rest of my life. And I got my license so I don't think it matters. It might have in the past but it doesn't matter anymore."

Mr Smith's sighed. He gave me a look. He was probably angry, and I didn't expect him to not be angry. What I did was wrong and I'm sorry. But sorry won't cut it so...... And it's not like I actually got pulled over once. I'm guessing the officers assumed that I had a license considering that I could drive perfectly.

Mia texted me.

Mia: hey ash, did you pass today I think you might've. I hope you did because, well... You're really good actually at driving.love Mia

Me: hey Mia, I did pass today! I'm so excited you won't believe it. Where are you right now? I'll pick you up!

Mia: I'm home, but do you want to go out for ice cream?

Me: Defiantly! How about 5:00 next Friday?

Mia:Yaas

We went to all the dumb classes I had today and then it was lunch. I met Jacob where we talked about meeting. We got in his car and drove to Wendy's. It was okay. We talked and even got ice cream. I got chocolate and so did he.

When we got back to school, Mia asked me how it went.

"Great!" I replied.

"Did you guys kiss?"

"Yeah it was more of a short kiss rather than making out."

Her smile didn't drop.

"Well I bet it was great."

"It was."

The lunch bell rang and Mia and I walked to class.

School was over now, and I was driving to pick up Mia from her house. I honked the horn and she came out.

"Hey,"

"Hey what took you so long? "

"My mom said that if I was going out with a boy I would be grounded. So she gave me the longest talk about wasting time on boys. No big deal."

"Oh. "

We drove in silence to my house. when we got there, I could've sworn I saw my nieghbor at The front door.Sarah Rutley. It was defiantly her.Mia tapped my shoulder.

"You know her? "

"Umm yeah she's my neighbor."

"Oh."

"Yeah. Umm what do you want to do?"
