Alex POV

I question my better judgement for the twentieth time as I step off the plane. Mom and Dad had given me the choice to go with them, but I had decided to be nice and let them have alone time.

I don't like being nice.

My suitcase bumps as I scan the empty seats, deciding which one to sit in before Will gets here. Not the one with the screaming baby, or next to the old lady with a murderous glint in her eye. Since no one here is worthy of my presence, I decide to just wait in the bathroom, but as I turn around I spot a really pretty girl. Like, almost as pretty as marshmallow fluff on a rainy afternoon.

So I decide to grace her with my presence.

I take a seat next to her and turn down my music a little to show her that I won't mind a conversation, but she keeps her nose stuck in the book she's reading. I glance over at her to get a better look. Petite, with some soft, subtle curves, she had big hazel eyes framed with naturally long, dark lashes. Her high cheekbones jutted out from her rosy cheeks. Her long hair tumbled down her back in beachy waves, raven black except for the purple tips, giving her an edgy look. Her thin wrist had a thick "Peirce the Veil" wristband on it, contrasting her pastel top. She pursed her plump, pink, lips, suppressing a laugh, probably because of something in her book.

To sum it up, she was hot.

I cough to try and get her attention, but her eyes never stray from the thick novel in her hands. Hmph.

Ellie POV

Where is he? I've been waiting FOREVER for Lani's boyfriend to get here and it's been so long that I already read 500 pages of my book. Suddenly, a boy sits next to me. He's actually kinda cute. I don't lift my head from my book, but my eyes are secretly looking him up and down. He's really attractive, especially the way he crinkled his nose.

I take that back, this guy is a creep. He's staring at me with his chocolate brown eyes, thinking that I can't see.

I roll my eyes, and the second he sees me lift my eyes from the book he launches himself into a conversation. Ugh. I wish i had put on some makeup, he may be a creep, but he's still hot.

"So where ya from?" he said after clearing his throat.

"Nowhere special. How about you?" I answered, giving him a cheeky smile.

His brows furrowed for a second before he laughed. "I'm Alex." he stuck out his hand and I shook it. "I'm here visiting my brother."

"The names Ellie. I'm visting my sister. Nice to meet you, Alex." His name felt comfortable when I spoke it.

"Well Ellie, this your first time in LA?" I nodded and he smiled. "Well then, how about I be your tour guide?"

I made a face, "I dunno, my sister said she wanted to show me around with her new boyfriend and his friends. In fact, since she's busy he's the one who will be picking me up."

He shrugged and replied, "My brother wants me to meet his new girlfriend too. You should have heard him on the phone, he was so excited because she's the first girlfriend he's ever had. It's hilarious!"

I put my hands on my hips, "Is that so? Well I think that's sweet. And I bet you're not any better with the ladies either." This was the funnest conversation I've had in a while.

Alex POV

I put my hand to my heart and feign being hurt. "Why Ellie, I'm great with females. I'm talking to you aren't I?"

She bumped my shoulder and a laugh bubbled up her throat. She's so cute.

Suddenly I feel my phone vibrate. Will texted me saying that he was ready to pick me up and he was next to the bathroom. I groaned and Ellie asked me what was wrong.

"My brother is here to pick me up, so I gotta go. Do you want to meet up sometime?" she smiled and handed me her phone.

"Put in your number and I'll call you sometime." I do what she said, putting in my name with a frog emoji next to it. She takes her phone back and sends me a text.

Hey it's Ellie :)

"There. Now we won't have any problems finding each other." I get up to leave and she gives me a goodbye hug which completely catches me by surprise, but it warmed my heart.

"Bye!" Ellie released me and waved goodbye as I walked away.

"Bye."

Will POV

Oh no oh no oh no oh no. I lost Kalani's sisters number! How am I going to find her now? All I have is a picture from when she was twelve, and I think she would have probably changed a lot in 4 years! I see Alex approaching with a dazed look on his face.

"Alex! Did you see any 16 year olds who might have looked like this 4 years ago?" I ask him in an urgent voice, showing him the photo.

"What? Dude! How did you find that picture of Ellie? I didn't even tell you about her yet!" Wow. I sure am lucky.

"You know her?"

"Yeah I was just talking to her. She's awesome. I'm going to meet up with her sometime soon."

"Well that time just got sooner because she's coming with us. She's my girlfriend's sister and I was supposed to pick her up, and, uh, I kinda lost her number.

Alex held up his phone, "Got it right here. I'll text her telling her to come over by the bathroom."

As Alex opens his phone, and I say, "Hold up. You already got her number?"

Ellie POV

Just 5 minutes after he leaves, Alex sends me a text saying to get all my stuff and head over to the bathroom. He said it was urgent, so I hurry, just in case something happened to him.

When I get down there I see Alex standing next to a very tall someone, probably his brother. "This is Will," Alex says.

"Cool, that's my sister's boyfriend's name." I'm a little confused about why Alex wanted me to come here.

"That's me! I'm so sorry I'm late but I lost your number and it turned out Alex knew you and all is well know, thank goodness!" Will said.

I laughed.

"Well then, we better get going!"

Adlsdkfjkl I haven't written in forver! This chapter is kinda all over the place but I had a lot of fun writing it. Oh and it's long so that's good. Oh and isn't Ellie a cute name? It was tied for a while between Ellie and Katie but then Ellie won by one vote. Don't forget to vote and comment even if it's just to say hi :). Okay that's all for now!
