Alice POV

I hummed as I browsed through the library. Uptown Funk was blasting in my ears, my favorite song at the moment. I was so into the music that I didn't realize someone standing next to me until I felt a tap on my shoulder. I stopped my music and turned around.

"Oh Gabe! Hey!" you gave him a peck on the lips. "How come you wanted to meet up here? I thought you didn't like the library."

"Well, I know you live the library and.... ikindaneedyourhelpsoimbutteringyouupsorry" Gabe rushed through the last part.

"You need my help?" I gestured toward myself. "Moi? Alice? Your Girlfriend?" I teased Gabe.

He groaned, "I told management that I'd find the perfect song for our next cover and, well, that's not going so great." Gabe said sheepishly.

"I know exactly what song you should cover!" I whisper yelled.

"Tell me what it is!" Gabe sounded so excited that I laughed.

"I'll tell you when we go to Chipotle. We are going, right? Because no date is complete without Mexican food."

Gave chuckled, "I'll swear sometimes you remind me of Will. I'll meet you there in half an hour."

I kissed Gabe's cheek and went back to choosing a book.
Gabe POV

The boys had the perfect idea for Alice's surprise. Letting her pick out our next cover was pure genius! She seemed really excited about it. I walked into Chipotle and found Alice reading her newly checked out book. I sat down in front of her but she was so engrossed in the story that she didn't notice.

"Alice. Ally poo. Hello oooh. Anybody in there?" I waved my hand in front of her eyes and she looked up. "Gabe you interrupted the best part." She whined. I pit my hands up in surrender as she put away her book.

"I already ordered for us, so let me tell you the song. Better yet, why don't you listen to it." She poked her earbuds in my ear and I heard "Uptown Funk" blasting in my ears.

I raised my eyebrows. This was good. It was perfect! "C'mon Alice! Let's get the boys so we can record this!"

"Um no. I haven't eaten my food yet mister so sit your butt down."
Alice POV

I hummed as I stepped into the recording studio. I was psyched to see how Gabe's voice would work with this song. The second they started singing a smile popped on my face.

They were fantastic.
