"Ahhh!" Raven screams as Clarke used the hot knife to clot the wound. "That should stop the external bleeding" Clarke explained. "I don't understand, how did Murphy get a gun?" Finn asked. Bellamy glanced over at me "Long story" he sighed. "We got lucky. If Murphy had hit the fuel tank instead of me. We'd all be dead" Raven explained. "Wait there's rocket fuel down there? Enough to build a bomb?" I asked her. "Enough to build a hundred bins if we had any gun powder left" Raven answered me. "Let's get back to the Reapers. Maybe they'll help us?" Bellamy suggested. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend, right?" Bellamy asked. "Not this enemy. We saw them. Trust me...that's not an option" Clarke says. "There's no time for this. Can she walk or not?" Finn asked Clarke. "No," Clarke says. "We have to carry her," Clarke says. "The hell you will. I'm good to go" Raven struggled to get up. "Hey! Listen to me. That bullet is still inside you. If by some miracle there's no internal bleeding it might hold until we get somewhere safe" Clarke explained. "But you are not walking there, is that clear?" Clarke ordered her. "Yeah..." Raven sighed, nodding her head and laying back down. "I'll get the stretcher," Finn said to Clarke before walking off. "Can run fast enough? Real brave" Bellamy hissed at Finn. "Dying in a fight you can't win isn't Brave, Bellamy it's stupid!" Finn hissed walking back over to us. "Spoken like every coward who's ever run from a fight" I hissed at Finn. "Alright, that's enough!" Clarke says to us. I glare at Finn "It's time to go" Clarke pointed out.  "If they follow it's a 120-mile walk to the ocean" Bellamy stated. "Look! We're wasting time if they want to stay, they can stay" Finn says before walking off. "No, they can't," Clarke says to Finn. Clarke then walked over to us. "We can't do this without the two of you" she confessed. "What do you want me to stay Clarke?" I asked, harshness in my tone. "I want you to say that you're coming with us," she says. "Those kids out there they listen to you and Bellamy" she pointed out. "They're lining up to go, they listen to you more" Bellamy pointed out. "I gave them the easy choice but five minutes ago they were willing to fight and die for the both of you" Clarke explained. "You both inspire them" she added. "I'm afraid we're gonna need that again before this day is through" Clarke then said before walking out. I turned to Bellamy. "It's up to you what we do because I'll follow you" I whispered to him. Bellamy knit his brows together. "You mean that?" He asked me. I nodded "Yes, I do..." I truthfully tell him. Suddenly Bellamy crashed his lips onto mine. I kissed him back immediately. The tension and heat cause my breath to be taken away. When I slightly pulled from him I let out a heavy breath. "It's you and me, Bellamy...." I whispered to him as he placed his forehead against mine. He cupped my cheek and his eyes had said it all. "Come on..." I grabbed his hand after picking up my bow and arrows. Bellamy and I watched everyone begin to leave. "We did well here Bellamy," I say to him. "Eighteen dead..." he says to me. "Eighty-two alive" I stated to him. I squeeze his hand "We did good" I whispered. He nodded before using the water bucket to put out the fire pit and tossing it down before we followed Clarke out of the camp. We walk through the forest and I keep my bow to my side. Suddenly though we had stopped. Just then an ax comes full-on and hits the guy in the face, killing him on impact. "Grounders!!!!" Jaspers shouted.
We all ran back into camp, Bellamy and I guiding everyone else inside. "Go! go!" I screamed. Everyone had gotten into their places. "Shut the gate!" Bellamy ordered as we rushed inside the walls. I hopped up on a plate form and grabbed an arrow and lined it for aiming before pulling it back. "Load your guns!" Bellamy shouted as he got next to me. "Where are they?" Bellamy asked as he aimed his gun. "Why aren't they attacking?" He asked me. It hit me then "because we're doing exactly what they wanted us to do" I sighed "what are you talking about?" Bellamy asked me. "You said Lincoln said the scouts would be the first to arrive right?" I asked, turning to Clarke as I lowered my bow. "If it's just scouts we can fight our way out" Octavia explained. "That's what Lincoln would do," She says. "We're done doing what the Grounder would do," Bellamy tells his sister before jumping down. I followed him as my sister joined me. "We tried it and now Drew is dead. You want to be next?" Bellamy asked Octavia. "That Grounder saved our lives" Finn hissed. "I agree with Octavia. For all we know there's one scout out there" Finn added. "Yeah, one scout with an insanely good aim" I scoffed, rolling my eyes. "Clarke! We can still do this" Octavia says. "Looking to you princess. What's it gonna be?" I asked Clarke. "Run and get picked off out there in the open or stand and fight back?" I asked her. She hopped on the platform and stared into the forest before jumping off. "Clarke, if we're still here when Tristan gets here..." Clarke cut him off. "Lincoln said scouts, more than one. He said get home before the scouts arrive" she tells Finn. "Finn they're already here" she added before turning to Bellamy and me. "Looks like you got your fight" she stated. "Okay, then! This is what we've been preparing for!" Bellamy called out, getting everyone's attention. "Kill them before they kill us! Gunners at your post!" Bellamy ordered. "Use the tunnels to get in and out! From now on that gate stays closed!" I called out. I turned to Izzy "Go get into the dropship now" I ordered her. "No! Absolutely not!" She shouted back. "Izzy! I mean it! I cannot fight and worry if you're being killed" I pointed out. "No! You cannot do this! We're in this together Shadow" she says. I sighed, knowing there was no way she was gonna get into the dropship. I begin to walk towards the wall. I walk over to Bellamy and Clarke. "So how the hell do we do this?" Clarke asked us.
We meet in the dropship. "We got 25 guns with 20 rounds each give or take" I explained. "Roughly 500 rounds of ammo" I informed Finn, Bellamy, and Clarke. "While you were gone we made some improvements" I stated. "Thanks to Raven the gulls mined" I stated to them. "Partially mined thanks to Murphy" Raven corrected me. "Still it's in main route" Bellamy pointed out. "And of the Grounders use it, we'll know" Bellamy added. "She also built grenades" Bellamy picked one up. "That's not many" Clarke stated. "Again, thank you Murphy" Raven hissed. "We will make them count," Bellamy says. "If the Grounders make it through the front gate, guns and grenades should force them back" Bellamy pointed out. "And then?" Clarke asked. "We close the door and pray" Raven stated. "And pray what?" Clarke asked. "That the ship keeps them out because it won't," Clarke says. "Then let's not let them get through the gate" I informed them all. Bellamy pulled out his radio "All foxholes, listen up keep your eyes and ears open. Inflict casualties as many as possible" Bellamy instructed. "We can hold them off long enough to make them turn back. That's the plan" Bellamy explained. "That's always your plan. Just like the bomb on the bridge" Finn stated. I scoffed "Enough! What's done is done, Finn...Everyone on that bridge was at fault for what happened, get over it" I hissed. "Can't be that simple" Clarke shakes her head. She turned to Raven "You said there's fuel in those rockets right?" She asked her. "Enough to build a hundred bombs" Clarke repeated. "And she also said we don't have any gun powder left" I reminded Clarke. "I don't wanna build a bomb, I wanna blast off," Clarke says. I smirked at her idea, it was completely genius. "Draw them in close and fire the rockets...a perfect ring of fire," I say. Bellamy smirked "Barbecued Grounders. I like it" he stated. "Will it work?" Finn asked Raven. "The wiring is a mess down there but yeah" Raven explained. "Give me enough time and I'll cook them real good," Raven said.
It's dark as I helped put salt down with Bellamy. "Hey...can we talk?" I asked him in a low tone. "Really? Now?" He asked with a serious expression. "What other time Bellamy? We haven't talked since the whole Murphy thing and we might die fighting this war" I pointed out. "Please? Just talk to me?" I begged. He nodded, grabbing my hand and pulling me off to the side "Let's talk then" he says. "Why did you make a deal with Murphy?" He asked. "You hated me Shadow" Bellamy pointed out. "No...I might be pissed at you and hurt but I could never hate you Bellamy" I say. "I made a deal because I didn't want you to be alone, If Murphy was gonna kill you I didn't want you to feel like you died alone," I say to him. "You can fight with your sister, fight with Clarke and Finn and even me," I say. "But no matter what Bellamy, as long as I'm alive you're never alone" I smiled at him. "Whether it's as friends or leaders or what—" I was cut off when the tingling sensation of his lips on mine. He grabbed my face with both hands as his kiss got rough and almost hungry. Bang bang bang bang! We pulled apart at the sound of the drums. "Bellamy they're here!" I hear Monroe over the radio in Bellamy's pocket. We rushed through the tunnel and over next to Miller. "Where's Octavia?" Bellamy asked, aiming his weapon as I aimed my bow. "She left five minutes ago. Didn't say where to. She thinks she's a damn samurai" Miller hissed. "See anything?" Bellamy asked me. "No" I answered. "What the hell are they waiting for?" I asked. "The longer they wait the better, This is about buying time for Raven" Bellamy explains. "I see them! They're moving!" Someone called out over the radio. "One two three no like four. I don't know man!" He yelled over the radio. "There's too many of them!" He shouted. Bang! Boom! "Who was that?" I asked Miller. "Sterling, I think" Miller responded. "South foxhole, report now!" Bellamy called over the radio. Bang! Bang! "Yeah yeah we're okay" he responded. "They didn't attack. It's like shooting a ghost" he answered. Suddenly my breath hitched when I see something pass by, footstep heavy and running. "There!" Miller yelled. "I see them!" I shouted. Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! The gunfire goes off like crazy. "Stop! Stop! Hold your fire!" I screamed. "Hold Fire!" Bellamy then shouted. Miller gun clicked "Reload now" Bellamy ordered. "Those are our last clips" Miller pointed out. "We should fall back," he says. "No, if this position falls they'll walk right to the front door" Bellamy explained. Boom! "Raven! Our minds actually work!" I hear Jasper shout over the radio. "Jasper! We need you in the dropship right now!" Clarke says. "Negative we can't give up the west woods" Bellamy explained. "The west woods are mined, Bellamy. The Grounders just figured that out. Jasper get in here!" Clarke ordered. "It's fine, I'll go with Harper" I tapped Bellamy on the arm before leaning down and placing a kiss on his cheek before whispering in his ear. "If anything happens to me, make sure Izzy makes it out alive" I informed him. "What?" He asked. "No you're staying here" Bellamy ordered. "Sorry boss, but I gotta go," I say. I go to turn away but he calls out. "Wait!" I stopped walking. He grabbed me and crashed his lips onto mine. "May we meet again" he whispered. "May we meet again" I say back. I run through the tunnels and over to Harper as Jasper handed her a radio he left. "I see one!" Harper yelled. She fired her shots over and over before her gun clicked. "I'm all out of ammo" she sighed. I knit my brows together, the idea hitting me. "They're drawing our fire" I stated. "What?" Harper asked. "They want us to run out of ammo," I say before grabbing the radio and pressing the button. "All gunners listen up. The Grounders are not attacking. They're making us waste bullets! Don't shoot! When they're running laterally!" I ordered. "Shadow's right. Don't fire until you're sure it's an attack!" Bellamy comes over the radio. "Repeat! Don't fire until you are sure it's an attack!" Bellamy shouted. "Clarke hang in there, Jasper is on his way," I say to her.
They were attacking now, hundreds of them as they came full force all us. Suddenly I see Izzy. "What the hell is she doing out here!" I shouted. "Izzy! Move!" I screamed as a Grounder runs at her. The sword goes through the Izzy and I feel my heartbreak. "No!!!" I screamed. "Doe! Come on!" Harper tells me. "Izzy!!" I screamed louder and suddenly was filled with so much rage.lol"No! I gotta get Izzy!" I shouted, getting out of her grip and rushing over to her. I picked Izzy up and began carrying her through the tunnel. "Clarke! Clarke!" I screamed. She came out of the dropship. "Help her, please!" I begged. "Get her into the dropship! Now!" Clarke yelled at me. I got her into the dropship and laid her down. "You're gonna be alright, okay?" I asked her, sobbing. "Go...go back out there, save our people!" She spits up blood. She was right, I needed to save our people. I nodded, rushing out of the dropship and waiting at the gate. Boom! I looked up at the sky as Clarke came out when she heard the sound.  "Is that from the Ark?" Clarke asked me. "That is the Ark..." I whispered. "Take down the gate!" I hear someone shout. "Clarke! Get back!" I shouted at her. "What are you gonna do against them all?" She asked. "Get everyone inside now!" I shouted at her. Suddenly I heard yelling and whooping. Finn suddenly comes through the tunnel, rushing over to Clarke. "What did you do?" She asked him as they hugged. "I kicked the hornets' nest," Finn says. "You brought the reapers?" I asked him. "I brought us time, how's Raven?" Finn asked, before looking at Clarke. "She's not good," Clarke says. "Go! I'll hold them off out here," I say to Clarke before Finn and her rush into the dropship.
I hear them loud as they begin to climb the wall. I take out my bow, aiming each shot as they fall. "Get back to the Dropship now!" I screamed at the gunners. "Alright! Jasper did it everybody get inside now!" Clarke screamed. Fire burst from my hands again. Clarke looked at me and I smirked. "Go!" I shouted. Suddenly I felt a sharp pinch in my leg and the fire stopped. I felt it on the ground. Bellamy rushed over to me, I see him above me. "Come on!" Bellamy picked me up before handing me to someone. "Get her in the dropship!" He ordered. The arrow felt deep in the back of my leg. I shoved the guy away as He got me to the ramp and I see a Grounder stab, Bellamy. "Bellamy! No!" I screamed. Finn suddenly grabbed a gun and began shooting. "Finn no!" Clarke screamed. Bellamy and Finn began beating the hell out of the guy. Grounders were everywhere as Clarke and Miller rushed into the dropship. Miller pulled me back as Clarke closed the hatch. "No!!" I screamed at her. I yanked the arrow out of my leg when suddenly Anya came through the door just as it closed. She pulled out her swords. "Jasper now!" Clarke yelled. Jasper clicked the button but nothing happened. "Anya, you can't win," I say to her, standing by Clarke. "Ahhhh!" She ran at us but Miller knock her to the ground. They begin kicking her. "Stop! She's not—" I was cut off when I got hit. "Stop!" I shoved Miller back. "She deserves to die!" Miller shouted. "We are NOT grounders!" Clarke shouted. Suddenly as Jasper did something the whole dropship shook. Screaming from outside causes my heart to break. "No! No no!" I screamed. "Why did you do that?!" I shouted at Jasper. "You...you killed Bellamy!" I screamed running for him. "No!" Clarke stopped me. "You did this....." I begin to sob. "You!!!" I begin getting upset, fighting against Clarke. I sink to my knees "Ahhhhh!" I screamed, sobbing harder.
"What now?" Miller asked as hours had passed. "Tie her up" I hissed with the order. Miller tied Anya up and I grabbed the hatch and pull down on it. I stepped down on the ramp and see all the ashes and burned bodies and my breath becomes shaky. I look down in the ground where Bellamy and Finn had been last and felt my heartbreak. Suddenly a smoke Grenade shot in front of us. The pink smoke crowded us. Another went over the wall "What the hell?" Jasper asked. "Mountain men..." Anya whispered. Everyone began coughing and sinking to the ground. I begin feeling fuzzy as the pink smoke crowded us completely. I fell over a little and lifted my head to see a bunch of people in hazmat suits. Their guns pointed at us. Everything was slow "Stop!" I shouted as they begin lifting people up and carrying them out of camp. "Stop!" I screamed. "This one is strong," A man's voice says. "We might have to use another dose on you kid," the man's voice said before I felt a pinch in my arm. Everything suddenly went out.
My eyes opened and I shoot up and looked around to see I'm in an all-white room. My clothes had been changed. I climbed out of bed but I see the needle in my arm, causing me to rip it out. My mind was racing as well as my heart. I go to my window and see Clarke across from me. "Clarke" I shouted at her. I grabbed ahold of my door handle and pull on it, trying to open the door.  "Let me out!!!" I pounded on the door. I then look over to see a sign that reads. Mount Weather Quarantine ward. My heartfelt like it stopped and my breath hitched. "We're in Mount Weather..." I whispered.
