chapter twenty-two.

𝐉𝐈𝐌𝐈𝐍 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐀𝐍𝐒 𝐀𝐓 the pain he's having the cause of mina who randomly pushed him just when he was just patting her back; awkwardly calming her down. "what the hell?!" jimin yells, looking up at mina as well as he's dealing with the pain.

"what the hell are you doing?" mina answered back, mimicking the 'you' much more louder. mina glares at jimin even more as the two hold an eye contact. you see.. it was mina's fault but since she's not on her mind and overdue to missing her dad too much, she wasn't be able to think straight.

jimin sighed when he finally stood up, ignoring the glares mina is throwing at him. why the hell is she putting blame on me now? jimin nags inside his mind.

he clears his throat, "are you feeling much better now?" he tries to change the topic. he knows he could just tell her the truth about how this girl randomly called him 'dad' as their eyes meet but his guts are telling him to forget about it.

"do i look sick to you?" mina sarcastically say, raising her eyebrows as she rolls her eyes that makes jimin snicker at her arrogant action. no you look pretty. "no you look fine." he mumbles, not really letting mina hear what he's saying.

"you should thank to me." the taller boy continues, being all confident out of nowhere that making mina frowns. mina looks back up at the guy who's probably like 3 inches taller than her. she judges him, "for what?"

"for what you may asked?" jimin goes to her level for a second as she backed away. jimin smirks, "do i even need to explain? i literally saved your ass from a random bully." he explains, clearly unamused with mina's reaction.

then, mina's disgusted expression were being shown. "i never asked you to save my ass from that guy." she answered. jimin stunned for a moment. is she being deadass, right now? she's gotta be joking.

jimin took a deep breath, "or is it just, your family that have never ever teaches you how to thank to someone?" he sarcastically ask, tilting his head as he examine how her serious expression slowly changing.

he couldn't explain what she's really thinking as he patiently waiting for answer. thinking for a good comeback, i guess?  jimin thoughts as he chuckles quietly.

"technically," mina begins. "they did but, i chose violence." she lets out an fake smile. without waiting for what his words gonna be, she walks by passing him leaving him standing alone.

gosh. jimin shut his eyes for 10 seconds good. he turns around seeing no shadows behind. meaning she already really leaving him alone there. "whatever."

meanwhile, mina knows she should be at the field right now; practicing and training herself but her feets are seems to be taking her somewhere else. the school's backyard. none students are even allowed to be there but oh well, she's in now.

the school's backyard is probably the most cleanest spot if she get to chose. the reason why it's clean is because no students are allowed to be there. but it felt like a waste. the backyard had so much space.

why am i even here? there's nothing much i could do. mina sigh. she seems to be having hard time to focus now. to think about how she randomly hug a boy- or more likely she just hugged school's famous crush because she thought it was her dad?

she covers her face at the thoughts of that. gosh mina, why are you so stupid?

"psst."

mina turn around seeing, jimin. again. she frowns, why is this guy here again? she looks at him up at down as he slowly walks inside, looking around; being mesmerized.

"what the hell are you doing here?" mina quickly closed the door behind him when he had fully entered. jimin turns around and almost laughed at the scene he's seeing. more likely his first time seeing mina with a worried expression.

"i could ask the same to you." he smiles. mina slowly letting her frowns away as she sigh and sat down at the bench she was sitting. "i don't feel like training." she answered as she ignored jimin who's taking a seat beside her.

then, she turned at jimin who's already looking at her. "what about you? shouldn't you be at the class instead of following me?" she ask, carefully judging him. she watches how he lets out a small smile and shrugged.

what is that supposed to mean? mina frowns. jimin seems to notice her stares so he turns his gaze at hers. "you know, you could take a picture so it'll last longer." jimin teased, admiring how she slowly being disgusted.

"you stupid, i was asking." she said, slowly shooking her head. randomly, jimin's heart beat were beating faster. why did he took the step to follow her?

he clears his throat, "i don't know." he answered. receiving another look from mina. this is totally not normal. she rarely could sit on the same table with him without being so cold around him but, what is this? why is she suddenly being so talkative?

he then look down from the sky matching her gaze with his with a soft smile on his face, "i just feel like you need a friend at this kind of situations."
