chapter twenty-one.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐃𝐃𝐄𝐍 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 of school's famous boy who known to be absent today, but shows up and punching the shit out of sana's current boyfriend is totally getting the whole students heated.

i mean, who wouldn't? his appearance of his new advertisement is trending everywhere. the whole school would know the reason why he absent for some days. but, what is he doing here?

"if it's really your way to talk to girls in such a disgusting way, who the hell raised you?" says jimin, after some students successfully pull him away from the called 'victim'.

everything seems like a slow motion for mina. not in a dramatic way but, the action of park jimin shouting and beating someone in front her remind her of someone she really missed for multiple years.

everything couldn't be heard, shouting and gasp were being muted for mina. just her staring at this park jimin who turns at her after being held by multiple students. he managed to free himself to walk up at the girl who's zoning out.

without even mina saying anything, mina were being pulled up by jimin to make sure she stands up straight. mina's eyes blinked and goes to reality when jimin snaps his fingers in front her face.

she looks up at him, having jimin already staring with such a concern and worries flooding his expressions. she felt like she have stares at those expressions before and she now her heartbeat is beating faster than before.

"are you okay?" jimin ask, examine her whole face then down to her hand that just froze down there.

just by him, reaching for mina's bleeding hand the cause of her holding herself to not hit her head from falling. students were gasping, whispering and screaming. it's all chaotic on the field.

unfortunately, after all of those heated and very shocking action happened the four of them were being sent to the principle office. mina, sana, jimin and jeongmin were facing the serious looking principle in front them.

the principle, Mr. han examine mina who's facing down to her hand that are like bleeding nonstop even she have wiped it. "mina, you can go to the nurse room first."

mina glances at the principle as he nods to assures mina that she's good to off from being punished. jeongmin scoffs as mina walk pass the three and went outside. "this is unfair. she attacks me first."

"who gave you the permissions to talk, han jeongmin?" his dad asked, raising his eyebrows as jeongmin's facial changes at his dad defending a different kid. "dad!" he yelled.

Mr. han clears his throat, "can you explain why are you punching han jeongmin? did you two hates each other?" Mr. han ask, taking two paper nearby his hand and writes somethings while waiting for jimin's explanation.

"i arrived at school earlier and all i see is han jeongmin pushing and yelling at this girl," jimin pointed at sana who's just quietly standing beside him when Mr. han eyeing at her for a second.

"and mina." he continues. jeongmin laughs, "i did not yells or push those girls."

"shut, jeongmin." Mr. han warns. "continue."

jimin clears his throat, "multiple students were watching but, did nothing than laugh when the two girl were being treated like a stuff. am i supposed to join the others laughing than defends these innocent girls?" 

Mr. han stares at jimin as he finished explaining making the contact longer. Mr. han then smiles, looking down at the paper where he had been writing. "you're the first teenager celebrity that are acting like the way you should, park jimin."

"you may go but, i need to have sana and jeongmin here for awhile." Mr. han continues, jimin nods bows at the principle and walk out from the office. it's a short fight than he thought.

jimin walks down the quiet hallway to his class. the scene that happened earlier runs thought his mind. mina defends her friends right in front his eyes when he reached the school. he shook his head to ease his anger as he sees mina walking opposite from his front view.

the two stop walking than just staring at each other. is she okay? he thoughts. he glances at her hand that she was holding, neatly wrapped with a bandage. he lets out an small smile as he steps closer.

weirdly she didn't say anything. when he reaches her, he felt like the whole feeling inside him were being melt just by staring at her. "are you feelin-"

his words stop when mina randomly throw herself on jimin, burying deeper into his hugs. he was stunned for a moment. did she hit her head? jimin thought. jimin tries to pulls her away but, she refuses.

"dad?"

dad? jimin frowns even more. just by him walking and smiling at her making her thinks like he's her dad? jimin tries to laugh it off when he glances down at her. "mina.."

"i missed you so much, dad. why did you leave for so long?" 

that, hits him. jimin doesn't the reason why mina was calling him, 'dad' but maybe he reminds her of her dad? overall, jimin's hand slowly moves to her back and strokes her softly as she sobs into him.

behind of those quiet and deathly stares she gave, she was suffering. he might not know what had happened but all he knew, her dad leaves her in the darkness until the point she had to find a way out herself.

maybe, that's why she was so speechless when i tried to calm her down?
