chapter nineteen.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 actually comes real quick for mina. to be honest, she can't even get a peaceful sleep without thinking about how messed up her private life is just by minki coming back to Korea for mess.

even though her mom has told her so many times to go to US whenever she felt like running because her mom knows, mina wouldn't be able to handle this kind of tense. but, she refuses. how could she? this place is like a memory to her and if she walked away like that, she'll felt like she's accepting the fake truth.

mina groans and stretch out her arms as she stood up from the queen sized bed. the apartment was nice but, she still can't get fall asleep peacefully. she'll probably waking up with an eye bag welcoming her.

it took her almost 10 minutes, to finish up herself and get ready for school. when she felt like escaping, study will helps her. sounds like a psychopaths but, she loves it.

mina grab her bag, ready to walk out but she stopped when she remembers one thing.

she glance at the oversized hoodie that were hanging on the on the wall neatly. then, yesterday's situation hits her. other than just walking around at 3 am in the morning with this new apartment are just, weird for her.

she might not know how to thank to someone over their kindness. mina roll her eyes, walking to the hoodie and put it into one small bag and walk out as she's ready to go. she's actually glad that, just by walking and a small ride in a bus to school is quiet quick.

just like how he said, it only takes 15 minutes and she's already here.

she walked inside the school without any other second thoughts. she does sees some students walking around and of course, talking and whispering about her. almost give a damn but, self-control is better.

after almost the whole school knew that lee minki's mom come all the way from US just to 'attack' mina, if that's what they were thinking. she actually glad that people think those other than just have the thoughts they were 'siblings'.

unexpectedly, just when mina walked inside her class her eyes goes to sana who seem to be arrived too. mina looks down and just keep walking straight to her seat.

she does realize that sana has turned around, seems to be asking her something but keep the silence. mina doesn't seem to be bothered so, she takes out her book and let herself being busy.

sana sigh, "mina. i know what happened,"

mina stop her hand, directly thinking about jimin. didn't she told him to keep yesterday's situation as a secret? mina looks up, acting all confused.

"you don't have anything to say?" sana whines. "i know it must be tough to you to have a famous person chasing you. you wanna talk about it?"

sana explain, letting mina close her eyes. she was shocked for a moment, of the sudden words from sana.

mina shook her head, "i'm fine."

"you're obviously not." sana attack. "the rumors has that you ran away from your house since lee minki's mom comes to your house."

mina sigh. it's spreading too quick when it's about something famous. she can't get even to breath a second. all of these bullshits come hit her life like a train.

"whatever." mina shook her head, and goes back to writing continuing on ignoring sana who's clueless and hates seeing mina suffers all alone.

sana whines in desperation of mina being stubborn. "whatever you're thinking, you know you can talk to me right?"

"i don't want to be your friends just by words."

mina looks up, meeting sana's sincere eyes as mina just give a light smile and continues on writing. sana's eyes wandered around mina's table.

then, she frowns at how mina suddenly have this small bag with her. sana touched the bag and look at mina, "what's this?"

mina glances and yanked sana's hand away, making mina chuckles, "you never bought these kinds of stuff before, mina~"

"it's nothing." mina response, not taking a glance at her own smirking friend.

sana just nods sarcastically. mina suddenly raises her head, "do you see jimin?"

sana's smirk slowly disappearing, "jimin?" mina nods, without even thinking that sana will think how suspicion it is of her asking about the famous guy.

sana was about to say that he unexpectedly had a advertisement in area nearby but since she knew mina don't give a damn about news, she decides to teases.

"jimin? i think he's absent today." sana fakes her action, looking around as a fact of her trying to look for jimin.

mina raises her eyebrows. is that man kidding me? he asked me to bring his hoodie and now what? mina curses inside her heart when she felt like getting trolled by him.

mina decides to proceed on writing while sana smirks when she stares at mina who's focused, "where you asking me about him~?"
