chapter eight.

𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐀 gets to hold onto mina after their class finally ended, mina already walking away from her as if she didn't even exists.

sana whines from afar, "minaring! wait for me~" sana runs up to mina who's calmly walking outside the school building.

sana jumps onto mina's hand that makes mina almost tripped. mina yells, "yah!"

sana shows her cheeky smile, "sorry~ i was just trying to stop you because, look that!"

mina frowns stares at sana for multiple seconds before looking at where she pointed; on the school's gate, seeing her brother with some students were surrounding him.

"it's lee minki!!"

her little bright face went dark within a seconds after she take a look at minki, who's having a big smile around him, nonstop.

then, she took out her phone which sana noticed it. sana nudges her arms, "wah~ you're going to take a picture of him too?"

mina didn't answer instead, she already saw that minki has told her that he's going to fetch her after school.

hey sissy. mom told me to fetch you after school as i arrive here. don't be late!

mina rolls her eyes, glancing on her left of annoyance. without any respond to sana's question, she walked away passing her own brother that were surrounded by students.

timing felt like slow motion as the sibling were passing each other, as if they've never met nor knows each other in the past.

sana quickly gets inside the crowd of wanting minki's signature. he's famous after all. aside of being good in surgery, he's also good-looking. and tall in every inch of girls' preferred.

minki, who's been just smiling while taking one by one's pen to give them his signature, he noticed mina walked pass him by his corner eyes, that make him turns at her way.

before he gets to focus back to these students, his eyes catch park jimin who's also calmly ignoring him, completely focus on his front.

he frowns even more, "she's friend with park jimin?" his heart asked.

meanwhile, mina; who has reached the bus station, she sat down while letting out an desperate sigh.

she leaned on the sign behind her, closing her eyes. feelings stressed over her own family.

the reason why she always hated her family is because they put high hopes on her, and also does everything that she told them not to.

like this. she never wanted minki to be around her instead, she'll always asked minki to stay away from her because she wanted to hide her identity.

"hey,"

mina mentally groans as she recognized that voice. without opening both of her eyes she could felt that he's sitting beside her.

why is this man wouldn't stop bothering me, i swear to god. mina's self curses, opening her eyes without even glancing who's beside her.

"are you-"

"stop asking me that bullshit again." mina straightly cuts his words before he gets to finish.

she may not noticed that he's smiling at her cold action. "do you want this bread?" he asks, holding out a bread that he did gave her past days but she give it to sana.

mina curses, looking around but her eyes stuck at one car; which she knows it's her brother's. she stares at it for awhile before turning at jimin.

jimin return a warm smile as she turn her head at him, "you don't want it?" jimin asks again, slowly pulling back his hand as he already expecting her answer.

"give it to me,"

jimin turns at her. mina, who has no expression while holding out her hand, are asking for a bread that he volunteers to give to.

jimin smile, slowly passed the bread as they touched hands. mina leaned back as she opens the bread, glancing at her brother's car.

she knew her brother might report everything she did to their family which at this point, she want to make him triggered.

even though mina doesn't know who's park jimin and why he's famous ever since he transfer to her school, her family does alot of background check whenever she's friend with someone.

he's overprotective after what had happened to her. in fact of that, his behavior makes her annoyed. after all, she's not that person who willingly say 'thank you' whenever someone helped her.

she didn't asked for a help then, why should she say thanks? that's why she's been learning self-defense. she's good at fights, even though she looked weak.

"does it taste good?"

jimin snaps her thoughts back to reality. without turning, she nods while unwillingly eats the bread. she's not a fan of bread, actually.

jimin smile, "i'm sorry if, i've been pissing you off past days." jimin says, copying her by leaning on the big board behind them.

mina didn't answer. she's just looking at the front, acting like she listening to him. "i hate making new friends."

she suddenly says. jimin turns at her with a confused expression, "why is that?"

mina turns at him, without answering anything but making a long eye contact. jimin blink, accidentally placing his eyes on her lips that make him gulps.

the bus has arrived!

"because, it sucks." mina respond while casually raising her both eyebrows, standing up and get inside the bus as soon as it stopped in front her and opened the door.

jimin were still froze at the position he's in. as the bus starts moving, he finally gets to move but not as usual anymore.

his calm heartbeat were now having a race. how come just by glancing at someone's lips could make him all nervous?

he leaned, closing his eyes. "no, don't even dare."
