Since no one was supposed to be using magic, as they were on a Muggle campsite, everyone had to put up their tents by hand.
Celia and Cedric were both underage so they couldn't use magic outside of school anyway.
So Cedric ended up putting the family tent up by himself, since Celia had no intention of helping, and Amos had gone off to talk to his Ministry friends.
"Are you going to read all day?" Asked Cedric, once he had come back from collecting water, after setting the tent up.
"The match hasn't started yet, so there is no reason I can't read right now" replied Celia, who didn't even bother to look up from her book to greet her brother.
"Fair enough... You should have come with me to collect water though, because I saw a lot of familiar faces out there, as there are loads of Hogwarts students here for the cup final" admitted Cedric.
"Even more of a reason to stay inside" mumbled Celia.
"Oh lighten up will you. It's the Quidditch world cup final" beamed Cedric.
"I am overally enthusiastic about the match, and I can't wait to watch a bunch of people fly around on twigs, throwing balls at each other"
"I could really do without the sarcasm"
"Well, it's not as if England are playing. Maybe if they were I would be a bit more excited about the match".
"If you played Quidditch you would understand just how amazing it is" insisted Cedric.
"No thank you. I like keeping my feet on the ground, and my body intact. There are far too many risks involved in playing Quidditch" replied Celia, as she closed her book.
"You can't spend your whole life worrying about risks and statistics"
"Yes I can. Besides, my fears are not irrational, because I know you've been injured loads of times playing Quidditch"
"They were never serious injuries"
"Maybe not, but you could have been really badly hurt".
Cedric was saved from replying as Amos had just re-entered the tent.
Celia had spent several family holidays inside that particular tent, and she felt that it got smaller every time they used it.
"Perfect flying conditions today" announced Amos, as Celia turned her attention back to her book.
"Yes, these are the kind of conditions I always dream of having for my matches" admitted Cedric.
"Just think Ced, it could be you out there very soon, bringing our country to victory" smiled Amos.
"I don't know about that. You have to be really good to make the England team. I saw Oliver Wood out there, and he's only on the reserve team for Puddlemere United, and I wouldn't say I'm any better than him"
"Oh stop being so modest Ced, you're an amazing Seeker".
To get away from her family, Celia left the main part of the tent and entered the bedroom, where she stayed until lunch.
Once they'd eaten the three of them made their way towards the stadium.
Even Celia had to take her head out of her book to marvel at the amazing gold stadium.
"It's beautiful" she whispered.
Cedric threw his arm around her shoulders, "It certainly is".
Amos led the way through the stadium until they reached their seats.
"Well, here we are" announced Amos.
Celia hadn't fully anticipated just how large it was, until she was inside, looking out at the thousands of people around them.
"I know that it seats 100,000 people, but I still never expected it to be this big" admitted Celia as she took her seat.
"It really is enormous" agreed Cedric.
Once they'd taken their seats, the team mascots put on their displays for the crowd.
The Bulgarians had brought Veela, and the Irish had brought Leprechauns, who showered the crowd in money.
"Nice" grinned Cedric, as he picked up a handful.
"That's Leprechaun gold, Ced, it's not real money, it will disappear in a few hours" sighed Celia.
"It's still amazing. I mean, how often do you get a chance to see Leprechaun gold?" Asked Cedric.
"I guess you've got a point there" replied Celia, as she took a coin from her brother and began to examine it.
Once the mascots were seated, the players began enter the pitch as their names were called out.
When the Bulgarian Seeker; Viktor Krum was announced, the stadium went insane.
"What's so special about him?" Questioned Celia.
"He's one of the best Seekers in the world, and he's only 18 I think" answered Cedric.
"I still don't see why everyone is so obsessed with him. He catches the Snitch a lot, so what, that's his job. He doesn't even look that attractive, and I expect he's got as many brain cells as a mountain troll" commented Celia.
"I hope you're not going to complain the whole time" frowned Amos.
"Of course not" mumbled Celia.
A few moments later the game started, and it was unlike any Quidditch match Celia had ever seen before. It was brutal.
The players were getting injured left, right and centre.
Celia winced as the Irish Seeker face planted on the floor.
"That looked painful" she admitted.
"I'm sure he's fine. But if you watched closely you would have realised that Krum hadn't seen the Snitch at all, he was just feinting, trying to make Lynch copy him. It's called the Wronski Feint, I do it sometimes in matches" explained Cedric.
"I'm sure you don't do it as successfully as Krum" stated Celia.
"No, I don't, because I never want my opponent to get seriously injured" informed Cedric.
"You're too nice Ced, that's your problem" sighed Celia.
"And you're too cold-hearted, that's your problem".
Celia glared at her brother, but she knew he was right, for there was a reason she had no friends.
Eventually the match came to a close when Krum caught the Snitch.
But because Ireland were so far ahead, they won anyway, even though Krum had caught the Snitch and not Lynch.
"I'm glad that's over, I was starting to get cold" admitted Celia, as they began to make their way out of the stadium.
"Well, once we're back in the tent, you can warm yourself up... Do you see now why Krum is so admired?" Asked Cedric.
"A little. I appreciate that Krum caught the Snitch, even though it meant his team would lose. I like that he wanted to end the game on his terms, rather than continuing to play in a match he doesn't think he can win. It shows that he is smarter than people give him credit for, and I was wrong to judge him so harshly earlier" admitted Celia.
"I'm glad that you admitted that you were wrong about him" replied Cedric.
"Well, I'm not right all the time, or perfect like you. So sometimes I make mistakes"
"I don't think that I'm perfect"
"Really? Well, you could've fooled me".
