Chapter 12- dirty little secret

I woke up the next day, my head on Jameson's lap, a guard banging on the door confirming the all clear, i slowly got up and opened the door, Jameson right behind me.
The sight before me was horrifying, bodies strewn on the ground, the decorations smashed and scattered across the morbid scene. I quickly walked past the bodies and into the main hall, i noticed the rest of the royal family, The Queen rushed over to Jameson, the worry replaced with joy on her face, i noticed Leighton looking at me, then at Jameson, then he averted his eyes, my stomach dropped, he must have guessed.
The rest of the girls were waiting as well, Maddie, Nona and Lexi, rushed up to me and hugged me so hard i though i was gonna pop; "uhuum!" The king cleared his voice at us we all bowed our heads and got into line."we are sad to say goodbye to Malin and Toni today who wish to leave after the rebel attack," the two girls at the side with suitcases blush crimson.

I have being sitting in my room for an hour, i decided to go see Lexi, to see if her brother is okay. I began making my way to her room when i saw Nona's door slightly open and too figures embraced in a very friendly manner, i swore under my breath and barged in closing the door behind me, "NONA! what are you doing, you could be tried for treason if somebody saw you!" I whispered forcefully, they both turned around the two flustered faces looking back at me, his brown disheveled hair, his deep blue eyes and stocky build, "Felix you best fix yourself up, and get out before somebody realises" he nodded and left, i turned towards Nona, "you do realise the door was open and if somebody saw you could be facing 1st degree treason!" She nods, "say it, " i growl,"we both get hanged, but you wont tell them will you!?" she mutters quietly, "of course i would you silly cow, why would i rat you out!" She nods, she raps her arms around me continuously muttering sorry and about it will never happen again.
