"Hold still," I mumbled, steadying my shaky hands as I plastered dark polish onto Ricky's nails. He rolled his eyes, blowing on his other hand to dry the paint.
"Remind me again how this is helping," he said, moving slightly and apologizing when I messed up.
"It's not," I replied, shrugging my shoulders, "I just wanted to match." I held up my hand, flashing the same nail polish already painted neatly on my long nails.
