I woke up at 5 in the morning. Don't look at me like that! I didn't mean to! Hazel was in the Aphrodite cabin squealing of joy. She woke everyone up except for me. I'm a heavy sleeper. Since I didn't wake up Hazel bent down, put her mouth right up to my ear, and screamed at the top of her lungs. I swear she probably woke up people in other cabins.

I got up. "OH MY GODS HAZEL ITS FIVE IN THE MORNING!" I yelled. She just smiled even more. "I can't hold it in anymore," she squealed, "Frank finally asked me out!"

I was happy for her. Honestly. But it was 5 am. I went to bed at midnight because of the campfire. I was tired so I gave her a tiny smile, said "Finally.", then lied back down.

Hazel didn't like that last part.

"Get up sleepy head!" She yelled, pulling my arm.
"How can you have so much energy? You went to bed the same time I did." I asked her.
"Because I'm happy, now get up." She said laughing.
"How long will that happy last?" I asked her. Allowing myself to smile. Hazel just glared at me. "There it goes." I laugh. All she did was give me a half smile and she pulled at my arm until I fell off my bed.

When I fell I landed face down on the floor. "Ow." I groaned.
Hazel's eyes popped out. "I am so sorry Piper. I didn't mean to. It was an accident."
"It's fine." I groaned. "I might as well get up since I'm not allowed to sleep." Hazel smiled like she had won something.

Hazel and I went down to the pavilion and along the way I was telling Hazel it was pointless because no one would be up yet. She didn't seem to care. We walked in and I gasped.

All of my friend had jumped out and yelled "SUPRISE!"

I couldn't stop myself. I had on the biggest smile in the world. I swear there are no better friends than the ones I have.

"YOU GUYS!" I screamed pulling Annabeth into a hug.
"Happy birthday! I can't... breathe... Piper." she said. I released her and backed up "Sorry." I said guiltily.

Right then Jason came up to me. Honestly he was the last person I wanted to see.

No more than a week ago I caught him kissing Reyna in the woods. I didn't blame her. She told me that he kissed her. I wouldn't believe her at first and then Jason confessed so I don't hate her for it. Do I hate him for it? Yes. Absolutely. After I dumped Jason and he started going out with Reyna.

"Happy birthday" said Mr. Idiot. I just straightened my lips. I didn't want to smile but I also didn't want to seem too rude. I'm better than that.
"Thanks." I said.
"Come on don't be like that." he sighed.
"Like what?" I asked.
"Like your mad at me. It was a long time ago." he complained.
"A week is not a long time." I said plainly.
He sighed. "I'll just leave then. Since you obviously don't want me here." With that he left the pavilion.

When Jason left Reyna was just coming in. She gave me a hug "Happy birthday Piper!" She yelled. Reyna and I are actually good friends, even after her and Jason started dating. She felt really bad when it happened, then she got mad at Jason, and I forgave her. She is really cool, we always dominate at capture the flag and since we are both the heads of our cabins we can make sure we don't have any alliances with Zeus/Jupiter.

So during the surprise party we ate a cake that Annabeth made. She actually admitted that she had to iris message Percy's mom for help. Then we just talked and laughed. Annabeth, Hazel, Reyna, and Leo gave me presents and I was complaining because they didn't need to get me stuff but Annabeth just told me to "shut up and open it." I got a cool t-shirt for my favorite band 5 Seconds of Summer. I don't care that they aren't demigods, they are still amazing. Hazel gave me a necklace with a silver dove on it, which I loved and put on immediately. Reyna gave me a purple shirt that says "My best friend is Roman." This caused an argument between her and Leo. Leo then handed me a bright pink box. I opened it. It was filled to the brim with bright pink feathers, glitter, and makeup. Leo started laughing and I picked up one of the feathers and tied it in my hair. "Thanks Leo. I forgot to tie one in this morning now I have one." I smiled. Leo stopped laughing and then continued laughing even harder because I had actually used something bright pink.

Nothing else good happened all day. Boring training, boring lunch, boring dinner, boring, boring, blah.

Eventually I fell into a dreamless sleep. Which was all I could ask for since I didn't need to see something bad.
