Chapter 6: A Secret

ARMIN'S POV

"Mom-?! You already know me and Annie don't even speak to each other anymore. Ever since we had that fight we've never talked and all of a sudden you want me to get married to her?!" I say with a stunned look on my face.

Why the hell does she want me to get married so badly now?

"Look, I know it's very sudden and all, but it's just me and Mrs. Leonhart have been talking to each other and thought it was a good idea considering you've known each other for most of your lives. That fight was ages ago anyways, I'm sure you can forgive each other by now," my mom says.

I got up sternly, wanting to leave the hospital, until my mom grabbed my arm and said, "Please, at least put some thought into it, okay?" I said nothing back and just left immediately.

I finally got to the college and was heading up to my dorm room.

How the hell am I gonna tell Y/N about this?

Eren was with Mikasa somewhere, probably on a date or in her dorm. I decided once I got into my room I'd call Y/N.

Y/N POV:

I got a call from Armin. I was reading Attack on Titan volume 33 and was sobbing over a character. Despite me crying, I decided to pick up Armin's call.

"Hey, Armin," I say with my voice cracking a bit.

"Hey- wait, are you crying?! Are you okay, Y/N?" he asks over the phone. He sounded very concerned for me.

"Yeah, I'm just crying over one of the characters," my voice getting a bit more raspy.

"Do you want to come over? We can watch a movie or something that will make you cheer up."

"Sure, lemme just tell Hisu that I'm going over to your place. I'll be there in less than 5 minutes."

I hung up on Armin, sighing to myself. I walk to the bathroom to clean up my worn out face. I turned on the tap to run the water and splashed my face with it. After I was done, I grabbed a towel to dry my face and went into Historia's room.

"Hey, Hisu, I'm going to Armin's dorm tonight. You can bring Ymir over to our place if you want."

"Okay, thanks for letting me know Y/N. In fact, I'll text her right now," she says, giggling while she went to grab her phone.

I left the dorm with my pajamas on and didn't bring anything else but my phone. I got to Armin's dorm and knocked, he answered almost immediately.

"Is Eren here or..." I say while I start to walk in, taking off my slippers.

"Nope, he's out with Mikasa... why?" he asks me with a curious look on his face.

"No reason," I say rolling my eyes, "Jeez I was just wondering." Now that I think about it, what I just said was a bit embarrassing. My face started to turn a little red.

"So... what movie do you wanna watch? I'll have you pick since you're the one having a bad day."

"Then let's watch (f/m),"

"I don't know if I've watched that yet but I'll make the popcorn while you put the movie on."

He grabbed a packet of popcorn and put it into the microwave for 2 minutes. He then grabbed a light blue bowl from one of the cabinets. I heard the microwave beeping, Armin then went to open it and pour all the popcorn into the bowl.

I made some room for him on the couch while he started walking over. I then laid my head down onto his lap and grabbed some popcorn.

"Hey, don't eat it all," Armin says with a pouty face.

"Don't worry I won't," I say laughing and rolling my eyes.

It was now almost an hour into the movie and I already dozed off a bit but could feel Armin's hot fingers on my face. He started to play with my hair a little after then moved them back to my face. They were warm and hot, drawing little circles. He then kissed my forehead and said, "Goodnight." The contact of his fingers were then gone shortly after.

I then heard Armin's phone go off. He picked it up and I opened my eyes slightly to see his face shocked, eyes wide open. He got a message on his phone from an unknown number.

What could've possibly shocked him that much...?

I then decided to close my eyes again and planned to ask him in the morning. I then felt his lips brush onto mine and kissed me. He pulled away and said,

"Everything's going to be okay, Y/N."   

A/N: I have exams in two weeks so I may not be able to post another chapter until after around June 11th. I will try my best and trust me I'll have a chapter ready to go after exams.
