An Arranged Marriage (Armin x FEM!Reader)

Chapter 8: Arcade

It was the next morning and I was laying down on top of Armin's stomach while he was sleeping sitting up. How the fuck is he able to do that.

I then noticed he started to open his eyes while I was still staring at him.

"Oh, good morning," I say with a cheerful smile on my face.

"Good morning~." I- his morning voice. "So what do you wanna do today?" he says, taking me away from my thoughts.

"To be honest, I don't really care or know what I wanna do."

"We could go shopping, play video games, anything you wanna do darling."

"Hmmm... wanna go to the arcade centre then?"

"Sure, I haven't gone to one in years. I'll pay for all the coins of course."

I got off of him to leave and before leaving, I asked, "In the parking lot at 2pm? Sounds good?"

"Yup, no problem!"

I get back to my dorm and see Historia and Ymir sleeping on top of eachother once again. I swear to god they're the best couple!! I then creep my way to the bathroom, trying my best not to wake either of them up.

Once I got out of the shower, I wrapped my body around the towel and quietly walked back to my room again. I went to my closet to pick out a white skirt with some light pink flowers on them. Then picked out my (f/c) shirt

It was about 12pm, seeing as I got up at around 10:30am. I still had 2 more hours till I saw Armin again so I decided to order some chicken strips and fries from (f/f). 

(who the fuck can't go wrong with some chicken strips and fries tho-)

After 15-20 minutes passed by, a knock on the door was heard and I then rushed to the door to get my food. I didn't have any breakfast since I didn't really have any time to eat earlier. Thank god it was only $7 for it too.

I close the door, thanking the fast food worker and bring it over to the living room. I turn on the tv to netflix and turn on 'K-on'. It was a cute music and high school anime, the music also added a nice mix to it.

I finished my lunch through one of the eps and decided to watch 2 more after since I did still have more time to spare.

It was then five minutes before I had to meet Armin, so I turned off the tv and put on my shoes. It hit 2pm as I was walking out the door and I got a text from Armin saying, "I'm waiting :)"

I then reply with, "I'm coming jeez -.-"

As I walk to the parking lot, I see Armin standing next to his car.

"Took you long enough," he said with a playful laugh.

"Shut up," I say as I slap him lightly on the arm and roll my eyes. He opened the door for me and closed it before he rounded the car to the other side and sat in the driver's seat.

Turning on the car, he hands me a cord, "You can play whatever you want, darling." I then took the cord and played (f/s).

After 40-45 minutes of listening to music and singing with Armin, we got to the arcade. We walked in and a little bell dinged near the door.

"50 tokens please," Armin then says to the worker.

"That will be $20 please, sir." The worker placed all the tokens into a cup.

Armin then places a $20 bill on the counter and he grabs the cup while the worker takes the $20.

"Alright, ready to win some prizes?" he says as we walk up to a game called 'Speed Ball'. It was a game where you had to roll the ball up the ramp and try to get it into one of the holes. The points ranged from 50-500.

"Oh you beat I am, especially to beat your ass," I say with a playful smirk as we both grab 2 coins from the cup. We pushed in the two coins and started.

"HELL YEAH, 500 POINTS!" I start to say a bit loud and start rubbing it in his face. I ended up getting more points than Armin by a lot.

"Alright then, your pick now," I say as I grab my tickets from the dispenser. After we grabbed our tickets, he picked a throwing game.

"Did I ever tell you my aiming was bad or something-"

"Nope, I don't believe so," he replies back as we both grab 3 coins from the cup.

There were 9 pins we each had to knock down and had around 12 chances to throw. In the end, Armin won.

We played games for what felt like hours but was only really 2 hours in total. We at least had 1000+ tickets together.

"Okay, let's get eachother 1 or 2 things and then we'll take some personal stuff," Armin says as we start to walk to the ticket booth to exchange all of the tickets.

I got Armin a bear plush, it was a beige colour with black dots for eyes and a black triangle for a nose. After we got each other something we exchanged the rest of the tickets for some personal stuff.

"Oh my god, that was so much fun! How about you, did you have a good time?" I asked Armin with a big smile on my face as we walked back to his car. 

"Yeah I had a great time! We should do it again." He smiles at me, but then it slowly fades away.

"Is something wrong?"

"I'll tell you in the car."

Did I do something? I don't know anything that would make him upset or angry at me that I did.

He then opened the door for me again and closed it as he rounded the car to his side.

"Before we leave, let's show each other what we got okay?" his cheerful smile coming back.

"Okay, I'm really excited!"

We ended up getting each other the same bear. I couldn't help but laugh at how we both ended up getting the same thing. He joined in on me laughing and soon calmed me down.

"So you got any names for your bear Armin?"

"Yeah I got a good one," he replies with a smile, "Y/N L/N." I couldn't help but smile at that.

"I was planning to name mine Armin Arlert. Man, great minds really think alike right," I say with a smile on my face as he starts the car.

I was hugging the stuffed bear, Armin but something was definitely wrong. It was really silent. He drove for about 20 minutes until I finally said something.

"So, what was it you wanted to talk about again?" He stayed silent for a bit so I spoke again. "It's okay Armin, you can tell me anything, remember?"

"You're right Y/N. I've been meaning to say this for a while but...  I wasn't able to tell you."

He paused for a few seconds.

"I'm getting an arranged marriage."
