AVA UNDER CONTROL

D-MANIFEST AVA COLE AND STEVEN ARRIVE AT THIS STRANGE DIMENSION (COLE'S POV)

We finally get there. This dimension is very grassy and lively, like a spring field. As we arrive, we all spot D-Manifest, but he teleports away, before any of us could reach him. He left a marking in the grass. It was in the shape of an egg with the egg being filled with one message, the darkness consumes her, written over and over.

"The darkness...consumes her?" I read out loud in confusion. "What does that mean?"

Ava stayed silent, as if she was trying to hide something. I thought nothing of it, and I continued looking around the place.

"I don't know, but at least we have our Angel of Light ready to fix her and hopefully put an end to this!" Steven calls out enthusiastically. "Right, Ava?"

Just as Steven turns to Ava, she's gone. I turn to the same direction. I was about to say something, when we heard a guy screaming "STOP! PLEASE!"

Steven and I run over to the source, only to see a blue, anthropomorphic hedgehog with red and white sneakers being pounced on by Ava. "AVA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!"

"HE'S AN OBSTACLE, A THING STANDING IN THE WAY OF MY...OUR PLANS!" Ava yells suspiciously at me.

"A-Ava?" I call for her. "Are you ok? You've been acting strange since we've been here, and I'm worried that you could be the girl he mention..." I was interrupted by the hedgehog.

"A-Ava?" He asks. "Is it really you?" His face is full of shock and can hardly even think straight. As he was starstruck by this fact, Ava attempts to stab him with her spear of light. I realize this and use my scythe to launch the spear into the water. She hisses at me and runs to the water to find the spear.

"I'm so sorry, she's usually not like this!" I apologizes to the hedgehog.

"It's all good!" The hedgehog responds. "So who are you two?"

"I'm Cole Brookstone, a ninja who's able to control the element of earth. I'm also from a different dimension." I state. "And this is Steven Universe, he's also from another dimension, but he's a hybrid of a human and an alien race of powerful beings called gems, with him being the son of one of the leaders, Pink Diamond, up until the day she rebelled on them to live low on Earth, by changing her name and form to be a woman named Rose Quartz."

"HUH!" The hedgehog says in confusion.

"He's been through a lot." I tell him.

"Ok!" The hedgehog responds.

"So, who are you?" I ask the hedgehog.

"My name is Sonic, an anthropomorphic hedgehog created in a lab by the evil Ivo Robotnik, aka Dr. Eggman, who I had to fight to save humans and animals from his reign." Sonic introduced himself. "This place is called Green Hill Zone, a peaceful forest, until someone tries to kill me, like today."

"Again, sorry about that." I apologize again.

"It's ok, although this isn't the Ava I know." Sonic mentions.

"Exactly." I add in.

"MIND CONTROL!" Steven yells out.

"What?" Sonic and I ask him.

"Think about it!" Steven tells us, "Ava was fine, up until she was captured by D-Manifest and Yugataro, aka Cole."

"Who and what?" Sonic asks

"Long story." I mention. "Continue."

"Ava looked sleepy and scared, when we tried to break her out of the lighthouse. Then D-Manifest kissed her. Instead of fighting the kiss, she accepted it, as if she loved him that way. He must've done something to her mind! That explains why she went from fighting him to loving him to attacking Sonic and hating Cole!" Steven explains.
