"Nobody touches anything. Everybody stays where they are," Vic stated loudly as she called her station and stood up to investigate.

ONE HOUR EARLIER

One warm afternoon in the middle of June, Victoria Brown, the best detective in town, wanted to grab a cup of coffee. Victoria, "Vic", decided to go to her local Tim Hortons, and since it was only a block away, she decided to walk.

She changed into her running clothes and put on her running shoes. She grabbed her smartwatch to track her steps and her earbuds in case she wanted to listen to music later, and then she was ready to go. Before heading out, she took her badge and gun just in case she needed them, and then she walked out the door.

For the first little bit of her commute to Tims, Vic jogged. She'd seen many of her neighbours and when they'd seen her too, they stopped what they were doing and chatted with her. Vic then stopped by her best friend Sasha's house to see if she wanted to go to Tims with her, which she did. The two friends then walked the rest of the way to Tims while talking about what was new in their lives. Vic told Sasha about the cute new guy at her station while Sasha gave Vic an update on her wedding planning as she was due to get married in just two short months.

Throughout the whole commute to Tims, Vic was pondering on which drink to get. Tims had a wide array of coffee drinks; they had their Original Blend, Dark Roast Coffee, Iced Capps, Iced Coffees, Mochas, Lattes, and Cappuccinos, and she just couldn't figure out what to get. She'd heard about their new Cold Brew drinks, but she wasn't too sure about them.

Once they'd arrived at Tim Hortons, Vic saw a poster taped to the window. It was a poster advertising the new Cold Brew drinks, and boy did they look good. Vic and Sasha then decided that they would both be getting Cold Brew. The two young women headed inside and waited in line to order their drinks. The coffee shop was filling up quickly, so Sasha offered to go hold their spot at a table, and Vic said that it was a great idea. Minutes later, it was Vic's turn to order and she ordered a Vanilla Dream Cold Brew for herself and a Cold Foam Cold Brew for Sasha.

Once the drinks were ready, Vic took them and headed over to the table where Sasha was waiting for her. The two had been chatting for about 20 minutes when all of a sudden, a blonde girl that appeared to be in her 20s collapsed onto the floor and started foaming at the mouth. In her hand was a cup of Cold Brew...

"Nobody touches anything. Everybody stays where they are," Vic stated loudly as she called her station and stood up to investigate.
