Coldbrew Stories

This is a poetry collection about everything that is sweet and bitter. Heavily inspired by the glorious season called Autumn.

What to write... what to write? With a 500 word limit and a vague prompt - what would make a Cold Brew story stand out? Here's a story about a conversation. And maybe, just maybe, a meet-cute. Enjoy! (The word count fluctuates from the mobile to browser version - but displays 479 on browser and 500 exact on google docs - just in case it shows up weird :))

When a girl drops dead at her local Tim Hortons, it's up to Vic and her team to solve the case. This story can be read as the continuation of "A Murder at Tims | A Tims Cold Brew Story", but it can also be read as a standalone story. My entry for the Tims writing contest. About 500 words long.

My submission to the Tim Hortons Cold Brew Contest! Word Count: 462 Elyse and Sonja were separated for dating each other because they were both girls a long time ago. For the first time in years, they're going to meet up in one of their old haunts; a local Tim Hortons in their hometown.

A boy and a girl reunite in a Tim Hortons parking lot after their final goodbyes over a year ago in an attempt to identify the exact moment in their 6 year tumultuous relationship (in which they never officially dated but fell madly in love with one another) when they realized they wouldn't end up together. (Note: This is not a full story, this 500 word story would be the beginning of a larger piece of work. Written for the #TimsColdBrewStories contest.)

August Walton is looking forward to settling back into a life of normalcy. After a year of online courses, he's ready to return to his summer job at the bookstore. Upon reuniting with his co-workers, he realizes nothing much has changed within a year. He still recognizes the regular customers. The hustle that comes around lunch time. Even the girl who always sits in the corner reading a book, with her Cold Brew Coffee, no matter which season it is. The same girl he's been crushing on since he first started. Will he work up the courage to ask her out? READERS DECIDE! Yes, you heard me correctly! This is a CYOE (choose your own ending) story. At the end of each chapter, I will post two alternate routes the story can take. All you have to do is vote on which one you want!

♡[[Tim Hortons Coffee Brew entry]]♡ Sometimes life can be full of surprises. Elanie realized this herself as she and her best friend, Alexandra, get a flat tire on the road. Not knowing what to do, they decided to call for a towing and enjoy a coffee while they wait. Little did Elanie know that she would be meeting a handsome guy named Justin at Tim Hortons while she waited for the tire to get repaired.
