"What do you think of Cassandra Danford?" Draco was eating lunch at the Slytherin table trying to make small talk with Blaise and Pansy. He found that recently he'd been staring at Cassandra a lot more than usual.

"She's nice and definitely smart but when you piss her off she can be a real bad ass." "How would you know?" Draco furrowed his eyes brows, "well we're friends, I mean we've had a few classes together these past few years so I didn't have a choice but to talk to her." "I for one think she's hot." Pansy intervened.

"Agreed." The two boys said on queue and continued eating. "Okay fine I'm going!" Astoria Greengrass was being pushed by her friends to talk to Draco, "Hi Draco." She was faking this little sweet girl smile that made her look innocent. "Astoria." "Y'know I think it would be fun if we hung out some time, like this weekend maybe." She smiled and scooted closer to Draco.

"And I think we shouldn't." He scooted away, "Oh come on, don't be such a buzz kill." "Why don't you just leave him alone?" A voice walked past the Slytherin table. Cassandra.

"What are you doing here Danford?" Astoria spat, Cass and Astoria had never had the best relationship. Astoria had always thought very highly of herself, even if she was a year younger than Cassandra.

In fifth year a rumor started that Astoria raped her past boyfriend and from that moment on people hated her more than they did before. She then faked her personality so everyone thought she was a goodie two shoes.

"I'm just getting my student." "Student?" "Malfoy here needs to be tutored in divination, now if you excuse me my student and I need to study." Draco and Cass stood up before walking out of the Great Hall together.

✎...

It toke a little convincing, but Draco finally convinced Cassandra to accompany him to the Room of Requirements instead of actually studying.

They'd now been working on the vanishing cabinet for two hours and Draco was getting tired, but he couldn't stop he needed to finish the task. He couldn't risk his families reputation or life.

The blonde had started staring at the blue eyed girl sitting in front of him. Her eyes were rapidly scanning the hundredth page of Pride and Prejudice. From the corner of her eye, she could see Draco watching her every move.

"I know you're watching me Malfoy." Her head snapped towards the blonde. "Why haven't you finished working on the cabinet." "I don't want to." He sounded like a child throwing a tantrum.

"I thought you said you had to finish the task so your family wouldn't be in danger." She mocked, "hey y'know they could actually be in danger!" Draco groaned and put his head in his hands, she wakes over and put her hands on his shoulders.

She's never been the best at comforting people but she could tell he needed a lot of help. She began moving her hands back and forth, slowly messaging his shoulders.

Draco let a quiet groan slip from his lips, leaving him and Cassandra surprised. She bent over and put her face in front of his, their noses almost touching and eyes staring straight into each other. "Did you just groan?"

A grin slowly formed on his lips as she saw Draco look at the ground while blushing. "Don't be a pussy look at me." She put her hand on his chin and moved it so he was looking into her blue eyes again.

He never expected her to call him that, "d-did you just call me-me a pussy?" "The Draco Malfoy stuttering? Who would've thought I was so powerful." She giggled and the blonde smiled, she always found a way to make him smile.

Neither of them had noticed how close their faces were as they laughed together. Cass could feel his warm breathing on her lips, they both leaned in  and their lips finally met. The whole world had stopped, the only people existing was them.

Their lips moved in sync as the blood started rushing to Cass' head. She pulled away, "sorry I got dizzy." While giggling she moved onto Dracos lap. "Now, where were we."

A/N: this is probably the shortest chapter in this book lmao. I didn't really know what to write and I apologize in advance if this book doesn't make sense
