As we entered the herbology classroom, I started standing next to Lisa, one of my friends from Ravenclaw and a member of the crew. I considered talking to Luna but Lisa was kind of a mom friend. Before class started, Sprout wasn't in sight which gave me the opportunity to speak.

But before I  could do that, Lisa spoke fast "Ginny, guess what? I think I'm going to ask Colin out."

It took several seconds for me to completely comprehend what she just said. Colin Creevey, the photographer dating my best friend Lisa? I knew that they were both obsessed with art but are you kidding? Besides to be honest I always assumed he was gay.

Suppressing all laughter, I said "That's..." I paused not having any words for it. This was strange,  very strange.

Lisa rolled her eyes before I heard a dreamy female voice saying my exact thoughts: "Oh really? Well, I always thought he was gay. He's perfect for you."

Lisa looked at Luna's direction in shock. You would've thought she was shocked at Luna's attire today which was a messy bun and turnip earrings and well as a bottle cap necklace. Come to think of it, she wears it everyday.

"I mean," Luna hesitated. "He's so joyful and happy. That's what gay means, right?"

Lisa and I looked at each other weirdly before laughing our heads off. I gave such a loud laugh that other people were looking at me strange, especially Cate who had chosen this time fo arrive inside the greenhouse. She took in the weirdness,me and Lisa laughing at Luna and each other and Luna smiling serenely yet looking genuinely confused as hell.

Suddenly, Mandy walked in shortly after that. "Cate, why are you-", she paused, looking at Cate looking at Luna looking at us laughing. "I can assure you", Lisa said between laughs. "I think he's a heterosexual man."

Luna nodded, understanding this. "I'm relieved to hear that but what does have anything to do with being happy?"

I laughed harder while Lisa looked at me clearly baffled. "Could you explain that ?", asked Lisa, looking uncomfortable and awkward. Her hands immediately messed with her shoulder length red hair. I shook my head playfully.

"You're on your own", I said backing away, bumping into something.

"I'm sorry", a familiar voice said behind me. Oh god no, why?

I turned around to see my adorable boyfriend Michael. With his floppy brown hair and charming eyes greeting me. Too bad I don't like him in that way. At the end of last term, I kissed Michael for the first time and felt absolutely nothing and since then, I've been not feeling right with the whole thing, you know? I talked to the girls but nobody could give me a straight answer so I went to ask the help of the only female friend who wasn't apart of my crew, Hermione Granger.

Let me tell you something: Never take relationship advice from Hermione Granger. She told me I needed to get over Harry by trying having a romantic connection with someone I would not have a romantic connection with. I mean, while she did encourage me to have a successful conversation with Harry which I did when I taught him how to sign into the WizardFriends social  media website which let's face it, has a social media page and a chatroom combined. But other than that, she's awful and when she gives you advice, you  better do it.

"Hey Ginny," Michael said shyly, giving me the most adorable smile. You could hardly tell he listens to heavy metal. I've always been more of a pop music person. Before I could have and awkward conversation with him, I was saved by Pomona Sprout.

"Hello class", she said in a pip cheery voice. "Today we will be learning about these nasty plants called Bowtruckles."

We spent the last minutes of class, sweating and covered in grass. Bowtruckles were very clingy when it came to Mandy who fell, after it entered her baggy pants, trying not to get out. "That happened once", Professor Sprout said. "Last year there was a second year who brought a Bowtruckle to school in accident. Apparently, they breeded them in the family and the poor thing nearly broke his neck. His parents were abroad so we had to call his Great Grandparents for help. She yelled at her husband, something about keeping it in a case of something and she started throwing things. She was bipolar ".
