It was dinnertime at hogwarts. Seriously, the first. While the Great Hall was usually filled with mindless chatter, it was instead filled with accusations and slander with a hint of skepticism. As I sat at the Gryffindor table with Mandy, I tried to ignore them but it wasn't getting any easier.

"You know if Cate's coming?", Mandy yelled loudly, forcing many people to look at her as though she was an idiot.

I shrugged. If Cate wanted to be mad than let her be mad. I was too tired to keep up with her feelings these days. Speaking of feelings, Mandy decided to lighten the mood.

"So this summer, I went to the mall. There was this really cool sale on tank tops so I kinda decided to get you one. So, do you fit in a small or extra small?"

I smiled. Mom never let me get tank tops, ever. She always told me I'd look like a scarlet woman. So naturally, I said "Small, you bought one for Cate?"

"And Luna, and Lisa", she added playfully. "Not Missy though. You know how tomboyish she is."

"Hey guys", Seamus's voice called out from behind us.

I turned around in my bench to see Seamus and Dean standing there smirking. Something was up. There was no way both of them would talk to me.

"What's up?" I asked with a suspicious look in my eye.

"Nothing's up," Seamus said way too fast.

Dean laughed. "Actually, I want to talk to you. Seamus just wanted to come along."

For some reason, Mandy glared at Seamus as if he had killed her grandmother. She then turned her head suddenly to glare at Dean. It was clear she had a bad feeling about this.

"Listen", he began. "I kinda need a favor. Me and Seamus made a bet with Fred and George."

I snorted. It was impossible to win a bet against Fred and George unless you were Fred and George. What was he after?

Seamus hesitated, looking frightened in the meantime. "I bet that you would get at least ten more subscribers on your WizardFriends page by the end of this week."

I rolled my eyes. "You bet on my social media?" Actually, I was more upset that Fred and George wouldn't vouch on my behalf. I mean, I was the one who actually got the jokes but fair is fair.

I mean, I never got new subscribers. It was only natural that they wouldn't support me. But suddenly, I had this drive. Everyone thought I was this boring little girl. I wanted to prove I was just as good as everyone else including my brothers. No, I was hell bent on proving I was even better than them.

And let's face it: I am better. It's just time to damn well prove it. It was then that I had a crazy idea. It was simple yet I knew there would be complaints, possibly a howler from Mum and whining from Ron and my brothers but it would be pretty fun.

All of a sudden, I looked at Mandy who looked at me with sudden joy.

"Wanna make some mischief?", challenged Mandy, a smile creeping on her face like a Cheshire Cat. Mandy loved to have fun and make mischief.

"Could you call Lisa for me? Tell her I need her photography skills. Ask Luna if we could borrow her makeup skills and call Missy and ask her to blab."

Lisa and Colin often took photos of everything and everyone. If I wanted to win a bet, I wanted to look amazing doing it. Luna on the other hand was an amazing makeup artist. While her fashion tastes were somewhat bizarre, she loved eyeshadow and lipgloss, especially glittery ones. Missy was a Hufflepuff who was uniquely chattery. The girl has a very popular social media presence at Hogwarts.

"What about Cate?", Mandy asked eagerly, wanting a chance to reconcile with our mutual friend.

"Cate loves fashion," I replied. The boys behind us suddenly coughed, startling us. We forgot they were there.

"Listen", I began my proposal. "I need your help. What if I help you win your bet?"

It was as if a switch appeared from their heads. Seamus's eyes widened. I think he was expecting a bat bogey hex from me and Dean on the other hand suddenly began moving his arms back and forth in synch with his hips in some sort of victory dance.

"He's flossing", Mandy whispered in my ears, much to my confusion. It didn't clear any cobwebs but it was close. However, I wasn't done with my proposal for the boys. I coughed in an Umbridge sort of way, shaking the boys out of their silent celebration.

"I'm not done," I continued, beginning to make my demands. "I want my cut in whatever you two are getting from the bet."

"We'll take it", exclaimed Dean, without hesitation. Seamus opened his mouth to protest when Dean elbowed him, causing a yelp to come out instead.
