Izuku held back a yawn as he returned to his room.
One glance at his watch revealed he still had less than a half-hour to change into clean clothes; gobble the first edible thing he'd come across; and SPRINT towards UA!!

... okay, first of all he'd take his shower tonight. That would save time.

The young man felt cold sweat run down his neck as he pictured his mother's reaction, had she heard him say that. Inko would have freaked, and then she'd have done what she used to when he was little: take away all his All Might action figures until he complied!
(...ARGHHH Izuku couldn't help but tremble at the mere thought of that!)

"Plus it's basically his fault, in a sense...!" he admitted, biting his lip.

And speaking about All Might by the way; what exactly was Izuku going to tell Shōto...?
The fire and ice wielder didn't know about One For All, and even though his boyfriend did intend to tell him one day, he hadn't exactly pictured he'd be spilling it out of nowhere-

Hold on, that was exactly what he had done with Katsuki though.
... And Katsuki hadn't believed him at first.

... Hold on, what if Shōto didn't either?

What if he freaked... and believed Izuku was about to leave him just like All Might had left Endeavor?!!

The green-haired teen crashed face first into the pillows with a muffled whine.

"Ughh... the more I learn about this story, the harder it becomes to think of a way to fix it!!"

- You look funny this morning, Midoriya-chan, kero!

As he joined his friends in the main building the young man repressed a very inelegant yawn.
- Ah, Asui-san...! I didn't get much sleep last night! he confessed, rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment.

Tsuyu looked him up and down, both unsurprised and worried.

Ahead of them Tenya suddenly froze and turned back — causing Izuku to almost bump into him.
- Hum! Midoriya, if I may! he exclaimed, snapping him back to reality, I think you've been studying way too late! I do admire the effort you put into schoolwork; however, as your class president and your friend, I cannot allow you to come to class looking so tired! If it goes on like this I'll have Todoroki surveilling you!

- That sure would be a good idea, kero! Tsuyu agreed with a kind smile. Todoroki-chan should definitely come to knock on his door before going to bed, and tell him to get some sleep too!

Izuku felt his cheeks heat up.

...Ahem.

(...Well at least that meant he and Shōto had been low-key enough for their closest friends not to have noticed anything-

- OI SHITTY DEKU!!!

Aaaaand... karma was striking again, absolutely NOT in Izuku's favor (as usual).
Half a second later the hero in training was pulled backwards by Katsuki, who seemed to want to kill him with his scarlet eyes.

... But the younger teen was used to it at that point, so he dismissively waved at Tenya and Tsuyu before they tried and rescued him from the blond's angry grasp.
Both reluctantly complied and left, with an exasperated sigh.

- Aaah, what's the matter, Kacchan?! Izuku asked, suppressing another yawn — which seemed to piss Katsuki off even more.

The blond's hands were already crackling, ready to blast him away.
- What's the matter?!! WHAT's the fucking MATTER, you ask?! he barked. Are you fucking kidding me?!! You think I haven't figured out it's your fault Aizawa-sensei switched homeroom with hero training yesterday, HAH?!! It was plain payback for whatever the fuck you and Todoroki were doing in the archive room!!
