MJ POV

It was Tuesday morning and I woke up in the room I share with Betty Brant and climbed out of my bed quietly, as to not wake her.

After that I walked through the School where only a few kids were awake and outside, into the woods. I walked for a few minutes before I came across and old mill. It actually was pretty cool for something so basic and run down.

I stepped inside and heard people talking. I curiously started to walk towards the voices but they stopped. I continued my way over and saw Hope and Rebekah looking at the doorway where I was.

"MJ?" Hope questioned.

"Yeah. What are you doing here?"

"The Old Mill is a hang spot for our School. When my family visits we come here sometimes and talk, because I'm not the biggest fan of people and people aren't the biggest fan of me." She shrugged.

"Don't you mean they aren't a fan of our family? You've done nothing wrong, Hope." Rebekah said.

"Anyway, I think we'll go back to the School and-"

"Oh no you don't." Rebekah cut her off. "You and Michelle are coming shopping with me and Don't even think about arguing." Rebekah said and dragged her niece and me all the way back to the School anyway.

We stopped at a very expensive looking car. "Really Aunt Beks?" Hope asked. "Don't look at me like that. Elijah never used to let me drive his cars and I really wanted to drive this one." Rebekah defended and then noticed she said something apparently wrong.

"Sorry" she said.

"Don't be. It was a long time ago." Hope waved it off. "Hope it was last year." Rebekah reasoned. "Like I said. A long time ago." Hope repeated, in a voice and with a look that said 'this conversation in over'.

"Alright. Hop in." Rebekah said.

Hope climbed into the passenger seat and me in the back. This was actually really nice. The leather seats were comfy and for some reason not hot from sitting out in the sun all day. Everything about the car seemed just right.

"How much did this thing cost?" I asked in amazement and it was hard to make me amazed. I guess it's probably because I have never seen a car like this, let alone sat in one.

"A lot more than his suits." Hope mumbled but I heard it just before Rebekah turned the Keys in the ignition.

"A lot of money. Elijah had style." Rebekah said. "Whooo!" She screamed and took of, speeding down the drive and through the streets of the town.

The wind was blowing out hair everywhere.

Soon, we heard the familiar sirens of a cop car and the flashing blue and red lights.

"Well this is bloody annoying." Rebekah grumbled under her breath before slowing the car down to a stop. A police man soon came over and stopped at her door.

"Can I help you?" Rebekah asked the man.

"You realize you were speeding, right Miss?" The police officer asked, annoyed with the situation, but seemingly not as annoyed as Rebekah.

"So?"

Hope chuckled and tried to turn it into a cough, although she was t really trying.

"I'm going to have to give you a ticket" the police man said.

"Rebekah looked the man straight in the eyes from what I could tell.

"I don't think that's necessary. I think you should walk back to your car and continue doing your job, but leave us alone." Rebekah stated simply.

"Of course, Miss." he agreed and did exactly as Rebekah said. Hope rolled her eyes as Rebekah faced the road again.

"How did you know he'd listen?" I asked her curiously.

"Easy. I'm a vampire." Rebekah said. "Hypnotism" Hope answered honestly to me. "Is that even legal to use on the police?" I asked them. "It doesn't say it's illegal so it must be legal." Rebekah reasoned.

"What a genius." Hope said sarcastically.

"I know."

Hope rolled her eyes again and I chuckled at her reaction. Still, shopping? Not looking forward to it.

"By the way... Elijah let me drive his Bentley before." Hope smirked as Rebekah gasped.

"What?!"

I literally had no idea what to do so I just wrote this little thing. It's terrible. I know. But it was the best I had for the time being.
