Hi guys my name is Kim y/n, and I am 24 years old. I am a nerd with a lot of PhDs and I know u may find it boring, but I love what I am doing, my mom is worried as I am the only child. Well I am happy with the current status in my life. The phase that I enjoy is my present self working on a project related to alternate dimensions and I came across a lot of myths, I wanted to prove the myths wrong so badly as science made sense, but myths don't make sense as they are not real, but broken lies stitched together. Well enough with my boring introduction, my day ended at my workplace and as I was driving to my place back and yeah I still live with my parents and even if I want to live alone my parents won't allow, so I am stuck, but I don't feel bad as I love to live with my parents too.
As I reached home, my mom grabbed me and pushed me into my room saying to change into the outfit on my bed. I was confused, but I obeyed, and I freshened up and changed into the outfit laying on my bed and came out.
My mom stared at me and said 'you look beautiful.' and I could see her eyes glittery as she was mesmerized.
[I never wore dresses before as I was always in hoodies at home and office wear at my workplace]
I asked that why do I have to dress like this?
and
she said 'you have a blind date', and I was shocked because I never thought of this as a phase to come in my life as I am pretty better off alone, and I asked when did u even set up a blind date without even asking me.
She scoffed and said, 'I know u will say no that's why I set it secretly.'
Now I feel like I don't want to go, but my mom told me the address and shut me outside the house. I had no choice but to meet the person. So I took a cab and went to the coffee shop. I didn't even know how he looked, but mom said he has a pic of me.
A lot of boys entered and every time I thought it was him, but it was not him. I felt the cringe in my spine as it was a couple coffee shop, every side of the shop I could see couples, and I was just thinking of going back then a guy entered the shop and waved at me, and I was shocked as I felt he was waving at someone else, but I looked around and there was no one, so I waved back, and he came to my table.
He said 'hello my name is Park Jimin and yr mom set blind date with me'.
I nervously said 'hello I am Kim y/n'.
I stared at his looks as I never focused on guys as I was more interested in finding facts about things everyone found boring. He had black brown shade hair, with pink plump lips, wearing white hoodie with formal jacket on top with old European kind of glasses.

We ordered our coffees and started talking, he asked what my hobbies were and I replied that I liked researching on interesting facts about dimensions. He smiled, said that it is an interesting hobby.
I chuckled and asked what his hobby was and he said he works as a detective, so he likes to solve cases and solving cases makes him happy as it is challenging.
[this is an interesting thing that both like challenging things to do]
Then he started to ask me questions about my daily life and I asked the same thing as I was nervous as hell, so I repeated the same questions he asked me. I think he noticed that I was nervous, so he comforted by not making the situation awkward, by being talkative and me replying to him and the night was spent well with good conversation and as the night was at it's peak, he dropped me at home and he left.
I felt relieved as the night ended and as I entered my house, I saw my mom in the living room and she signalled me to sit on the couch.
Likewise, I obeyed and sat there. I drank water on the table and after I finished drinking water my mom asked me how the night was, I replied that he was a nice guy and he was really nice even when I was nervous about to make the moment awkward, he comforted me and told me all the things about him.
My mom was overjoyed, I noticed that and asked do u know this person? She said that he is the son of her bestie who lived in foreign and came a year ago here, they met and talked a lot. She said she was looking for a girl for his son, and my mom said that she has a daughter. Both of them decided to set a blind date and let us decide to continue meeting each other or not, that is why I had a blind date. Now all my confusion cleared and as I was tired, I headed to my room and changed into my hoodie and shorts and slept.

Hi readers, I know this is a normal story with not much spiciness for now at least and comment down below of how u think this story is going. And I hope u find it good as this is my first piece of writing. I AM A HARD STAN OF JIMIN AND HE IS MY BIAS WRECKER BUT I LIKE LOVE STORY THAT I AM WRITING SO HOPE FOR THE BEST OUTCOME FOR U GUYS.
