ETERNAL LOVE

CHAPTER 5

A/N POV

We both were shocked when I heard my mom say that, in embarrassment I suddenly told him to wash up for dinner and walked swiftly towards her with a glare. I pulled her to the kitchen and said with shock in my eyes, "why did u just call him that?" She gasped and said, "I talked to his mom and she said that he started liking you from the day you both met and even in his sleep, he mumbles your name."

After I heard that information from my mom, I just couldn't stop smiling and blushing. My mum said

"Earth to y/n"

and I snapped back into reality, she gave me dishes to set up the table for dinner. I placed the dishes and saw my dad and him having a chat in the living room. I know what they were talking about as my dad was into crime and thriller movies and shows, so he was asking about cases and Jimin was happily explaining about how the real life of a detective is and dad was listening to Jimin with no care of what is happening around.

Furthermore, I found that so adorable as dad never had a son, so he listened to Jimin as if it was a story told by his son about how his day was. I could feel their bond getting strong and seeing my dad smile widely which I have not seen in few years. Since he entered my life, he made my house feel merrier and my family liked the atmosphere too. It seems like my parents have accepted him as his son already.

Jimin's POV

When I heard her mom call me son-in-law, I was feeling excited in my mind as if they gave permission to me for being her partner, but I didn't show any reaction and suddenly y/n told me to wash up for dinner and I could see her blush and I found it too adorable.

After washing up, her dad gave me a towel to wipe my hands and said, "thank you for letting me have dinner at your house, sir". He replied, "it's my pleasure to have you here and don't need to call me sir, you can call me dad too".

I saw her setting up the table, while I was talking to her dad. I wanted to help, but her dad was interested in knowing about my work, so I continued the talk. The table was set for dinner, so her mom called her dad and me for dinner. Everyone sat on the table and thanked for the food, then started eating food. Her mom gave me all the best dishes and I ate till my stomach was full. Then I helped y/n cleaning the dishes as she was feeling tired. It was late, so I thanked for dinner and left.

Y/n's POV

After he exited the house, I walked beside him until I reached the front gate and as he was starting his car I said, "thanks for having dinner and will meet tomorrow, I will text you the time tomorrow morning."

"Sure, I will look forward to your message and good night" he said with a smile.

"Good night and drive safe" I said. Then he left, I entered the house and saw my parents chatting, so I decided to eavesdrop, I heard them say "I hope they get together as soon as possible as I can't just wait to call him son."

I then tiptoed towards my room upstairs and went for a shower. After shower, I came out with towel wrapped and chose hoodie and shorts, then changed into them and messaged him.

"Have you reached home safely?"

"Yeah I have reached home and freshened up and was about to sleep until your text came" he said.

"Oh then sleep tight as you must be exhausted too" I texted.

"Yeah I will sleep now, will see you tomorrow then, bye. Good night." He texted.

After that I sent Purple Heart emoji and put my phone on the night stand and closed my eyes, but I wasn't able to sleep, I suddenly remembered what mom said in the kitchen and thought about my research and said to my inner voice, 'if he really likes me very much and his actions seem like soul mates then my theory should work out.' As I was deep into my thought, I didn't realize when I slept.
