Niall's pov:
"Hey Amanda, where are the spare special teabags? They aren't in the storage room," I yelled towards the small staff room, where Amanda was taking a break.
"I saw them only yesterday, are those for Ms. Johnson?" I nodded, when Amanda walked into the main store. This was my second time working here, but Amanda and her parents had told me all about the people who came here almost everyday, for special groceries or something, you couldn't buy at the big supermarkets. Like Ms. Johnson, who apparently came here every Tuesday, to buy the special flower tea.
I had told Amanda that I had to leave early for my break, so I could bring Harry's phone to the repair shop, a block away and be finished when I would go home after work. It was just as rainy as yesterday, which meant that I wouldn't be really busy.
I had also gotten a text from Liam, who was staying with his family on this side of town. He was going to drop by, because he didn't believe that I was actually working and he wanted to try the amazing sandwiches, you could get here. I didn't quite get how he knew about them, when I hadn't talked about it to him.
Around noon, when I had stocked all the empty shelves with fresh products and of course had sold a bit, the little doorbell at the top of the door rang. It was Liam, but also the same guy from yesterday, who always bought the 'famous' sandwiches for him and his friend. It looked like Liam and the guy knew each other, because they were cheerfully talking.
"Niall!" Liam walked up to me, with the black haired man behind him, "You're really working then, that's something different." The man laughed and Liam smiled back to him, his cheeks turning pink.
"Oh right, Niall, this is Zayn," Liam looked meaningfully at me. I frowned a bit, but then I remembered that this was the guy, Liam had met in the bar.
"Nice to meet you, well, we have met yesterday. But I didn't know you were friends with Liam," Zayn held out his hand and I shook it pleasantly.
While I was preparing the sandwiches Liam and Zayn were going to buy, I remembered what Harry had told me. That he had seen a guy in his visions and that he thought it might be Zayn, which meant that Zayn knew the person through whose eyes Harry looked when he the visions, if that made sense. No of course I didn't, these whole past days didn't made any sense, at all.
I looked at the guys in front of me, they were smiling and talking, Liam even giggled ones. I rolled my eyes. They were cute, but I heard already enough about everything that included Louis from Harry, I didn't need to know everything about Liam's love life too to be honest.
I was allowed to have my lunch break, so the three of us walked out of the shop, in the direction of the repair shop. The rain had stopped, but the wind blow cold against our cheeks and the sky still looked very gloomy.
"I broke Harry's phone this morning, so I need to get it repaired, you know how devoted he is to his phone," Liam nodded. In the corner of my eye, I saw Zayn frown a little, but shaking his head a second later.
We talked for a bit, the three of us, until my lunch break came to an end and I had to go back to my work again. Zayn was a nice guy and I understood why Liam liked him. Just when I wanted to say goodbye to the guys and suggest to meet again sometime, Zayn's phone rang.
"What's up mate?" he listened for a minute, before his smile dropped and a big frown appeared on his face.
"Wow, okay, I'll be there in 5," the ended the call and stuffed his phone back in his pocket.
"I'm sorry, but I really have to go," Zayn said, his thoughts all over the place, not really sure what to do with the call he just had.
"What's wrong? Can I help?" Liam's smile had disappeared too, he was really worried.
