I moved out of Dex and Julian's home with Colorado, and into the last empty house on the property. What Dex wasn't counting on was for Keith and Kenneth moving in with us, too. Dex fought that until Julian threatened to make Dex sleep on the couch for three months if he didn't stop. We're still on the property under the watchful eyes of every Clan member. Julian, Parker, Drake, Joseph, and Stone are constantly checking on the four of us, which is sweet.

Peter agrees with Dex about Jace, and for kicking me out for throwing a fireball at Dex. Peter and Dex avoid me as much as they can, but thankfully not 'Rado, or my brothers. I have asked Miss Jane to watch Colorado while I'm at school, so Julian doesn't have too, and have an issue with Dex. I know it hurt Julian that I did this, but he understands my reasoning, too.

"Kyler, I'm sorry to do this to you, but I can't watch 'Rado today. I forgot about an appointment I have to attend, and I don't know how long I will be," Miss Jane says after opening the door when I knocked to drop him off.

"That's okay, Miss Jane, no worries," I politely reply with a tiny smile. "Have a nice day."

Waving goodbye to her as I walk toward my vehicle to drive my brothers to school even though I won't be attending. Buckling him into his carseat, the boys exit the houses with confused expressions.

"What's going on?" Kenneth asks as they climb inside with Stone in the front, and the twins on either side of 'Rado.

"Miss Jane can't watch him today, so I'm going to drop you guys off, and then I'm going to spend the day with Colorado. I'll be back to pick you guys up at the end of the day," I explain when I start driving towards the middle school.

"You know papa will watch him so you can attend school," Stone softly says from beside me.

"I know, bud, but I don't want to cause any more issues between him and dad," I gently reply as I pull into his school parking lot. "I love you."

"Bye, and I love you guys, too," he says climbing out with a small smile at us while shutting the door behind him.

Once he's walking toward the front entrance, I pull away from the curb, and head toward the high school. Pulling into the parking lot a couple of minutes later, I park in a spot so Kenneth and Keith can climb out. This causes Colorado to whine in frusteration since he thinks we are going with them. Grabbing my phone so I can text West, Will and Jace in a group text that I won't be at school and asking West and Will to grab my school work.

"Bye guys, I love you both," I tell them as they climb out with their backpacks, and they return the sentiment to Colorado and me.

As they start walking toward the school main entrance, there is a loud knock on the driver side window which startles me. Snapping my head to the window with my right hand raised to manipulate the air, I find a grinning Jace standing outside the window. Climbing out of the vehical as Jace takes a couple of steps back, and I give him a bright smile.

"Hey Kyler, I just wanted to see you since you're not going to be here today," he says grinning at me while gently lacing his fingers with mine.

"Papa, out!" Coloroado hollers grumpily from his seat.

Giggling, I walk to the back door while letting my fingers fall from Jace's to take my boy from his seat. Placing him on my right hip with a smile and a kiss to his cheek; "Colorado, say hi to Jace."

Colorado gently waves to Jace while he stuffs his face into my neck while mumbling; "Hi 'Ace."

"Hi Colorado, how are you?" Jace cutely asks while he gently rubs Colorado's small back.

Colorado hums in repsonse as he mumbles against my neck; "Papa, hung'y."

"Okay, baby, we will go, so we can feed your hungry tummy," I reply with a chuckle as I tickle his belly.

"How about we go to breakfast together? My treat," Jace hopefully suggest with a grin.

"Um," I reply looking down at Colorado before deciding my answer; "Why the heck not? Let's go, I'm driving us, and I will bring you back here."

Jace's lips break into a broad grin as he rushes around the front of the vehical to the front passenger side seat while I buckle Colorado back into his seat. Once finished, I climb into the driver's seat, and drive us toward town, and to my favorite cafe.
