It upset Julian and Dex that I skipped school until I explained why I did. They calmed down once everything was explained, but I have to attend today, and everyday unless I'm sick, so here I am back at school this morning.
Ugh.
Jace and Jayson enter the Chemistry classroom, and I'm instantly tense, and it becomes worse when they sit down in front of us.
Both turn to face us with grim expressions as Jace speaks; "Hey, I'm sorry that we upset you yesterday."
Shrugging my shoulders gently as I honestly reply; "It's okay. I know you did nothing deliberately."
"Do you what Clan did this unfortunate event?" Jayson carefully asks as his eyes search my face.
"Um, the Moorehouse Clan," I reply chewing on my lower lip in nervousness.
Their faces instantly fall into dissappointment as Jace mumbles; "That's our Clan."
Humming at him in reply as I avoid their eyes as I stare down at my folded hands in my lap. William pulls me to his left side in comfort as West holds my left hand between his. Before anything can be said, the teacher starts class, and I try to foucs on what's being said, but it's hard. My mind wanders to my parents, wondering if they are proud of us, and if they would love Colorado.
"Kyler!" William hollers making me jump, and snap my attention to him in shock.
"Why in the hell are you yelling during class?" I lowly hiss, and then I realize class is over, and the room is empty except for West, William, Jace, Jayson, and myself.
"Oh," I mumble at the realization with flushed cheeks.
"Where was your mind at?" Will gently asks as we walk toward the door to head to our second class.
"Just thinking," I mumble, avoiding fully answering his question which earnes me a loud huff from my friends.
"Thinking about what exactly?" West question asks while we enter our English class.
"My parents, and stuff about them is all," I murmur as we sit in our seats in the middle of the room.
"You know they are proud of you, your brothers, and they love Colorado," West says with a far away voice, and his eyes are glassed over. "They love you four very much."
West does this occassionally where he can hear things from deceased people. Will cannont since his Fairy powers are not as strong as his Warlock powers.
Sniffling softly as West snaps out of his trance, I murmur; "Thank you, West."
"You're welcome for whatever I said," he tiredly replies through a small yawn as he snuggles into Will's side.
"Are you two dating?" Jayson curiously asks West and Will.
"Not yet," West mumbles as he rubs his face into Will's pecktoral.
Raising an eyebrow at him as Will says to West; "West, love, will you be my boyfriend?"
"Yes," he murmurs looking up at West with a cheery smile. "About damn time you asked."
West and I giggle at Will's slack jaw, and raised eyebrow as Will manages to say with a grin; "You are a mence, but you're my mence now."
West's smile turns into a wide grin as he agrees with Will with a tiny peck on his lips. I blush at their PDA, and look forward where I find Jace intently looking at me. My body betrays me by darkening my blush to almost feeling like lava at the lust filled look in his eyes. Lowering my gaze from his to my lap, I chew on my lower lip as I try to figure out why in bloody hell he would look at me in that way. I'm a Warlock, and he's a Demon, so why would he want to fuck me? Besides, I'm sure he would change his mind once he knows about Colorado.
"Who is Colorado?" Jayson suddenly asks snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Colorado is my son," I reply, ready for any snide comments about my son from either man.
"How old is he?" Jace asks curiously, and he doesn't seem repulsed by me having a child.
Weird.
"He's a year old," I reply while studying his body language.
"Where's his mom?" Jayson asks as he looks at me with a weird expression.
"Techincally I am his mum, and his dad is studying at University in London," I explain, and I figure I might as well explain more than what he asked.
"You're one of those guys who can get pregnant?" Jace demands, and you can hear the disgust in his voice.
"I can, but it sounds like you have a problem with my genetics?" I question irritated with a raised eyebrow.
"It's not natural, so yes I have a problem with it!" Jayson spits angerly back at me, well, more like yells.
"Is there a problem here, gentleman?" Mr. Houseman asks from beside Jayson.
"Yeah, I don't want to be anywhere near this freak!" Jayson growls, gesturing wildly toward me.
"That's enough Mr. Moorehouse!" Mr. Houseman growls (he's a Troll). "You can move your seat to the chair directly in front of my desk."
Jayson angerly grabs his stuff, and looks down at Jace expectently; "Aren't you coming, too?"
"No, since you're the only one with the issue," Jace replies with a shrug of his shoulders.
Jayson huffs as he stomps off to the seat in front of the teacher's desk.
Jace turns to look at me as I say; "I appreciate that, but you didn't have to do that. He's your brother, and you barely know me."
"My hot headed little brother has a lot to learn," Jace replies with a small smile.
