I grinned at him and bowed briefly in thanks then caught up with Gojo and Itadori, holding on to my new stuffie. Well, my only one since I didn't have any others here and didn't buy any earlier. Gojo would've looked at me funny if I went looking for them specifically, or worse he would've known what it meant. Besides, I didn't see any that I liked while we were out.
Gojo showed me to the second door in the hall of our dorm and Itadori to the last one. Everything I bought earlier had already been placed in my room, but I still needed to put it all away.Gojo rested against a stack of boxes in Itadori's room while I leaned on the doorframe.
"All the second and third years are out at the moment, but you'll meet them soon enough. There aren't many of them, but there's really no reason for you to fight too, is there? Fushiguro, Davis, and I could retrieve Sukuna's fingers. You could just wait here." Gojo's question sounded innocent to naive ears.
"It's fine! I said I'd do it, and I'm doing it! Though lazing around while Fushiguro came in all beaten up to bring me a finger would be a funny sight." Itadori turned around from where he was hanging up a poster of a blonde woman in a bikini to face Gojo and I.
"That's true. Well, I know there's no way in hell you're not gonna fight." Gojo smiled at Itadori's response.
"Hey! You were testing me?" I rolled my eyes at Itadori's question. He was so damn stupid sometimes.
"Are you really that ignorant? Of course he was testing you. Today has been nothing but one massive test." I grumbled in annoyance, prompting both men to look over at me. Gojo looked a little proud while Itadori looked surprised. After a few moments, Gojo turned his attention back to the teen with pink hair and walked up to him.
"If they were that easy to find, we would've found them all already. Some have a presence that's overwhelming. Some keep very quiet. Some have already been absorbed by a cursed spirit. There's nothing more troublesome when it comes to searching for them, but now we have you. The Sukuna within you will tell us where the fingers are to try to regain his power. You're both vessel and locator, our very own radar. So we won't get anywhere without you in the field." Gojo explained while holding his finger up in Itadori's face. He was lucky he didn't try it with me.
"You think he's going to be that nice?" Itadori asked while Gojo turned around and led us back out into the hall.
"I think we can come to a win-win agreement here." Gojo answered as Fushiguro opened the door to his room which was between Itadori's and I.
"You're next door?" He asked grumpily.
"Oh, Fushiguro! You look like you're doing well now." Finally, Itadori Yuuji made an accurate observation without having to be pushed in the right direction.
"There were plenty of other empty rooms, weren't there?" Fushiguro asked while he rubbed the back of his neck.
"But isn't livelier better? I thought it'd be good for -" Gojo was interrupted while trying to convince our classmate to be more outgoing.
"Classes and missions are enough. This was an unwelcome favor." Fushiguro retorted calmly while Itadori peeked inside his room.
"Wow, it's so organized." Itadori seemed like the kind of person who always has a messy room. I could not live in that kind of environment. I need to know where my things are and not have to search through a mess to find them.
"I just said you're unwelcome!" Fushiguro tried to slam the door closed, but dumbass Itadori didn't move out of the way and got hit.
"Well, it's all good." Gojo clapped his hands in excitement while Itadori moved away from Fushiguro's room. "More importantly, we're heading out tomorrow! We're gonna go pick up the fourth first year."
