Gojo led me to a room covered in seals while carrying Itadori. While Gojo tied the unconscious Itadori to a chair, I sat down in the one beside them and downloaded Instagram. After I set up my account, took a good picture, edited and posted it, Gojo snatched my phone from me and started typing. I didn't feel like fighting him over a stupid phone so I let him do what he wanted.
He handed my phone back after a few minutes and sat down in the chair across from Itadori and I. While Gojo played on his phone, I looked through mine to see he followed himself on Instagram and added his and Fushiguro's numbers to my contacts. Since Gojo added both numbers to my phone, I assumed he wanted them to have mine as well. I quickly sent a message to Gojo with my name then texted Fushiguro who I was and why I was texting him.
"How much money do you have?" I couldn't tell if Gojo was making small talk or trying to learn more about me.
"A lot." I responded, not taking my eyes off my phone while I followed accounts I found interesting.
"How much is a lot?" Gojo leaned forward and rested his arms on the back of his chair.
"Enough to last me several lifetimes without having to work, why do you care?" I looked up from my phone and tucked it into my jacket pocket.
"Just curious." His posture was relaxed, indifferent, but the faint image of his eyes was trained on my reaction to his questions. "What are you capable of?"
"A lot." This is what he was getting at. He was trying to loosen me up and get me to trust him enough to tell him more about what I am.
"Like what?" He sounded genuinely curious, but my answer could have drastically different consequences. I tilted my head slightly and analyzed Gojo's body language. He was as casual as ever. His non threatening posture eased my concerns, but I didn't trust him.
"My powers are tied to nature." I leaned back in my chair and went back to setting up my phone.
"Are you a dryad?" His incessant questions were starting to get annoying, but part of me enjoyed playing along with his games.
"No." Would be the only word coming out of my mouth until Itadori wakes up. No one had guessed what I was. At first, I didn't believe it myself.
"A faerie?" Gojo wasn't straying further into the cold.
"No." I knew he had good intentions, but I didn't trust him to keep his mouth shut.
"A nymph?" His question had less enthusiasm than before. I was sure he was running out of guesses.
"Nymphs are tied to water, not nature." The room was filled with silence as Gojo tried to think of something else.
"A deity?" He sounded dejected, convinced my answer would be another no.
I kept my expression neutral despite my body stiffening. He guessed right. Vague, but still correct. I decided to ignore him until Itadori woke up and started downloading useful apps on my phone then arranged them how I wanted. Gojo stayed quiet for some time though the burn of his gaze never left me.
"You are! Aren't you?" He exclaimed, grabbing my chin and forcing me to look up at him. Fucking hell I didn't notice him walk over to me. "What are you doing here?"
"I followed you here, or did you forget?" I kept my eyes trained on the black cloth covering his.
He frowned at my response and tightened his grip on my chin. I couldn't tell if he was stupid or trusted me not to attack him. I couldn't access all of my magic, not yet, but that didn't mean I was defenseless. He guessed correctly and knew it, so why was he reckless enough to grab my face and squeeze?
