Sorry for taking so long to update!! Unfortunately this chapter is EXTREMELY short but I wanted to give y'all something!

Your eyes crack open, and you feel a warm arm around your naked body. Eren seems to be sound asleep, so you carefully wiggle yourself out of his grip without waking him. You practically fall to your knees as you try to stand upright— you both completely wore each other out last night.
You grab a shirt and a pair of shorts as you drag yourself to the bathroom. You scan over your body in the mirror as you turn your head to the side. Your eyes grow wide as you can see the faint bite marks and a couple of hickeys going down your body.
Damn, Eren really did a number on you.
The flashbacks from last night play in your head for just a moment, and you can't help but giggle and blush slightly about it as you step into your shower.
Once you get yourself cleaned up, you go to the kitchen and put on a pot of coffee.

As you're enjoying the much needed cup of coffee, you scroll on your phone to see a bunch messages from Annie, Mikasa, and of course Erwin .
"What happened?"
"Where did you go?"
"Did you leave with Jean?"
"Eren left, I think he's coming to look for you."
"Can you at least let me know if you're okay and if you made it home safely?"

You let out a big sigh as you read through all of the messages. Your attention was so focused on your phone, you didn't even notice Eren walking up behind you. He seems to be dragging himself to the kitchen just as you did.
"Good morning." He groans. You can't lie, his groggy and deep morning voice is insanely attractive.
"Hey. Want some coffee?" You ask as you turn to face him.
"Yeah. That'd be great."
You stand up to get a mug for him, and you almost fall to your knees again as you get up. He catches you before you topple over completely, and you find yourself enveloped in his arms.
"Sorry. I'm a little sore." You chuckle before your eyes meet his, the giant green orbs stifling you.
"Yeah, I'm still a little tired myself." He rasps.
You both walk over to the couch after finishing the coffee, and you ponder for a moment before saying anything.
"So, last night..." You start.
"I know, we need to talk about it. Last night was great— for me , how are you feeling about it?" He asks.
"It was great for me too, Eren. I don't regret it—at all, but I'm not sure if it was the right time for this to happen."
"I agree, but I meant what I said last night. I really do have feelings for you."
"I think I just need some time to sort out my feelings with everything going on, you know?"
"I understand. But listen, whatever you decide, I'm here for you if you need anything. I really mean it okay ?" He leans over to hug you.
"Thank you."

You both ended up dozing off for a little while longer, and Eren decides to take his leave once you wake up again. He placed a soft kiss on your forehead before heading out the door. You close the door behind him and go into your room to change your clothes.
You see Annie's name appear across your phone, and you answer the call.
"Are you okay?!" She asks frantically.
"Yes, I'm fine."
"I called you like a hundred times! What were you doing last night?"
" Erm - you know what? I'm actually about to go and grab something to eat. Wanna meet me?I'll explain everything ."

"WHAT??" Annie almost spits out her tea as you tell her the events of last night. You also finally decide to tell her about Erwin as well.
"Yeah, I know. It's a lot." You scratch the back of your head.
What are you gonna do?
"I don't know yet. I think I should talk to Erwin first before I make any major decisions about anything though."
"Sounds wise. When are you gonna do it?" She asks.
"I'm not sure, I need at least a few days to think everything over."
You and Annie chat for a while longer before parting ways. The next few days go by in a blur. You haven't spoken to Eren or Erwin, nor have you been to work. You decided to take a couple of personal days just to clear your head, and Ymir had no problem with it.
On the evening before returning to your job, you decide to take a quick stroll before it gets too dark. You pull your phone out in an attempt to text Erwin, but you changed your mind and shove it right back in your pocket.
You genuinely don't know what you want to say to him right now.
As you're heading back, you pop into the bar that you frequent for a quick drink.
The moment you walk in, you're met with that oh-so familiar blue gaze. Only this time, they're full of regret and guilt.
"Hi."
"Hey."
