Part One

"Elaine!!"

You could hear your neighbor shouting outside your door, as always.

"Bloody hell......are you kidding me.....?"

You checked the clock on your bed side table as you wiped the sleep out of your eyes, or at least tried to anyway. Then It dawned on you. The clock said 8:50. You were late to school. 

"Shit!!"

Upon now being awake in horror that you slept in way too late, you practically thrashed around the room trying to get dressed decently. Once you decided to hell with it as you threw on some sweatpants and a comfy red hoody, you ran downstairs combing out your hair with your bag clutched in one arm.

"Elaine we're going to be late come on!!!"

You shouted back at the boy as you ran to the door

"Yeah yeah I know will you stop shouting at me?!"

You threw the door open and ran out, forgetting that he was right there just as you both fall to the ground with a mixture of shouting and curses.

"Jesus Elaine you nearly killed me!!"

You groans and rolled your eyes at his statement as you grabbed his arm to run to the bus. Your footsteps were heavy against the concrete and your breath was ragged by the time you got on the bus. You felt a wave of relief wash over you as you sat in your seat, looking out the window while setting your bag down. How did it come to this?

—————Elaine's Thoughts—————

I met him a while ago, maybe a few years before I got well known. The Tommyinnit, as he's like to say. When I first met him he was a bit annoying, a little weird. But he started t grow on me when I realized he lived right next to me. I didn't know much about him other than being a pretty "famous" streamer, other than that he was just Tommy. The kid who frequently made me late to college because of playing minecraft until pitch black. Even so......I have to admit he's kind of funny. He acts completely different online than he does in real life, it's kind of cute actually. He'll always act so tough online and joke about women and things like that, but in all honesty? He's just a big softie. He always makes sure I'm eating, he's checking on his friends or his family, and he always seems to have light beaming off of him whenever he walks. You know what? I guess this isn't so bad.

————After Classes————

You and Tommy always walked home together, in rain or in snow. Except for today. Today seemed off with him, he didn't talk with you as much as he usually does, he didn't pester or tease you at all, and he was either in his own thoughts or completely silent whenever you looked at him. You tried lightening the mood by linking your arm around his, chuckling quietly when he flinched a bit before relaxing and tugging you closer.

"Are you alright.....? You usually aren't this silent, Tomathy." You smirked and laughed silently, yet no answer from him. It made you frown.

"......Elaine....." Tommy stopped and looked at you, his blue eyes seeming to shine in the afternoon sun. "......I've known you for a long time now. A really, really long time. As in it feels like I've known you for my whole life."

You felt your face heat up slightly as you chewed at your lip nervously, even more so when he took both your hands and looked at you.

"Listen...." He started, leaning closer to you until your noses were touching.

"Y-Yeah......?" You blushed visibly now as you craned your neck up a bit, feeling his breath against your lips

"Elaine, I......" He leaned down further to kiss you, your eyes closing.

"......Tell me Tommy. What is it....?" You were now feeling light on your feet, your arms moving to wrap around his neck. You were only awarded with silence however.

"........BEEP BEEP BEEP"

Your eyes widened and you quickly sat up in bed as you slammed your alarm clock to quiet it. Fuck. It was a dream. A dream about Tommy. Your best friend, the only one who trusted you more than anything. 

".......Goddammit."
