GOJO: Now why would I prank you?
AMANAI: From what I know, GDF isn't known for taking many apprentices. You've never had an apprentice before. Why would that change with me?
GOJO: Your academic achievements are exceptional.
AMANAI: You didn't call me on for my academic achievements. I can tell.
GOJO: How can you tell?
AMANAI: It's written in your eyes.
GOJO: And that's why you're here. Nanami, can you get us both a coffee?
NANAMI: I'm not an assistant, Satoru-
GOJO: Nanamiiii pleaseee~
NANAMI: Fine, Fine.

IORI: You sure that sly bastards not trying to get in your pants?
AMANAI: No, that's definitely apart of it.
IORI: Then why are you entertaining it? You have other offers-
AMANAI: He is kinda cute.
IORI: Ew! He's got old man hair!
AMANAI: He's only a year older than us, and he's already got a phenomenal reputation. He didn't even attend post seccondary- he just was good enough to start on the job and get paid top salary. And even outside of that... I can sense there's something more to his offer. He's undoubtedly the best person I can be mentored by.
IORI: did you mean sleep with.
AMANAI: Shut it!... oh, S-sir Gojo!
GOJO: Eventful conversations going on, I presume?
AMAMAI: N-nothing, don't worry about it Sir.
GOJO: Alright. I'll leave you two be.
NANAMI [to GOJO]: I'm surprised you're even taking on an apprentice. You're productive enough on your own.
GOJO [to NANAMI]: She interests me, so why not? Plus, it'll be more than just detective work.
NANAMI: It's irresponsible of you to rope an apprentice into playing games with you Satoru.
GOJO: It's not a game... it's genuine intrigue. But if something more was to come out of it, I wouldn't be opposed. Maybe she'll just be a great apprentice, or maybe something a little more. At the end of the day, it's just four months. We'll play it by ear.
NANAMI: Somehow I doubt your abilities to settle with someone. Don't do anything to hurt her in the meantime. If you're playing the love game, remember she has feelings too.
GOJO: I know, I know. Geez, you're starting to sound like my mom. She's been hounding at me to find someone for ages! Hopefully this'll shut her up for a bit.
NANAMI: So the real reason surfaces.
GOJO: It's not the only reason. Part of it is intrigue of her abilities, and part of it is intrigue of mine. Does the great Satoru Gojo even have the capacity to love someone? Hell I've broken so many hearts... I don't even know what it means to have my own heart broken.
NANAMI: I should warn miss Amanai.
GOJO: Blah, you're no fun Nanami. Let's make a bet. Want to be for or against me getting into a relationship? Oh and having sex doesn't count towards for a relationship status, that could just be FWB.
NANAMI: Bye, Satoru.
