Still feeling shock and sorrow from learning about the past Mei feels the need for answers. She needs to see the aftermath of what happened in Tsukinoki. Getting out her stationary set from her desk she writes the following note to her brother Diavolo and Barbatos.:
-Dearest Brother and Barbatos,
I will be going away for some time. Memories of my birth and past have been made clear. The truth must be seen with my own eyes. Ruins of the Lotus Temple I was born in lie somewhere in the Spectral Realm.
